VmP 60.44

कालचक्रो भवानीशो नमस्ते पुरुषोत्तमः

You are the lord of the wheel of time, O Lord of existence; salutations to you, Supreme Person.

VmP 60.45

नरेश्वरो ऽथ ब्रह्मेशः सूर्येशस्त्वं नमो ऽस्तु ते

You are the lord of men, the lord of Brahma, the lord of the sun; I bow to you.

VmP 60.46

मित्रावरुणमूर्तिस्त्वममूर्तिरनघः परः

You are the form of Mitra and Varuṇa, you are formless, sinless, and supreme.

VmP 60.47

त्वमूर्ध्वकर्त्ता ऊर्ध्वश् च ऊर्ध्वरेता नमो ऽस्तु ते

You are the creator above, you are above, and you are of upward-flowing energy; I bow to you.

VmP 60.48

अनीशः सर्वपापेभ्यस्त्वामहं शरणं गतः

Helpless before all sins, I have taken refuge in you.

VmP 60.49

महेश्वरेण कथितं वाराणस्यां पुरा मुने

This was once spoken by the great Lord in Varanasi, O sage.

VmP 60.50

उपशान्तस्तथा जातो रुद्रः पापवशात् ततः

Thus, Rudra became tranquil, having been overcome by sin.

VmP 60.51

विमुक्तपापो ह्युपशान्तमूर्ति संपूज्यते देववरैः प्रसिद्धैः

Freed from sin, with a peaceful form, he is worshipped by the renowned best of gods.

VmP 61.1

येन सम्यगधीतेन पापं नाशं तु गच्चति

By whomsoever this is properly recited, sin is indeed destroyed.

VmP 61.2

हयशीर्षं नमस्ते ऽहं भवं विष्णुं त्रिविक्रमम्

I bow to Hayashirsha, to Bhava, to Vishnu, to Trivikrama.

VmP 61.3

नारायणं नमस्ये ऽहं नमस्ये गरुडासनम्

I bow to Narayana; I bow to him who sits upon Garuda.

VmP 61.4

कामपालमखण्डं च नमस्ये ब्राह्मणप्रियम्

I bow to him who is the undivided fruit of desire, dear to the Brahmanas.

VmP 61.5

हंसं शंभुं नमस्ये च ब्रह्माणं सप्रजापतिम्

I bow to Hamsa, to Shambhu, and to Brahma with the Prajapatis.

VmP 61.6

शिवं विष्णुं सुवर्णाक्षं गोपतिं पीतवाससम्

I bow to Shiva, to Vishnu, to the golden-eyed, to the lord of cows, clad in yellow garments.

VmP 61.7

अर्धनारीश्वरं देवं नमस्ये पापनाशनम्

I bow to the god Ardhanarishvara, destroyer of sin.

VmP 61.8

नमस्ये विश्वरूपं च सौगन्धिं सर्वदाशिवम्

I bow to the universal form, to the fragrant one, to the ever-auspicious Shiva.

VmP 61.9

नमस्ये पुष्कराक्षं च पयोगन्धिं च केशवम्

I bow to the lotus-eyed, to Keshava, who bears the scent of milk.

VmP 61.10

उपशान्तं तमस्ये ऽहं मार्कण्डेयं सजम्बुकम्

I bow to the tranquil one, to Markandeya, and to Jambuka.

VmP 61.11

कार्त्तिकेयं नमस्ये ऽहं बाह्लीकं शिखिनं तथा

I bow to Karttikeya, to Bahlika, and to the crested one.

VmP 61.12

नमस्ये लाङ्गलीशं च नमस्ये ऽहं श्रियः पतिम्

I bow to Langalisha, and I bow to the lord of Shri.

VmP 61.13

नमस्ये च त्रिसौवर्णं नमस्ये शशिभूषणम्

I bow to the thrice-golden one, I bow to him adorned with the moon.

VmP 61.14

कपर्दिनं नमस्ये च सर्वामयविनाशनम्

I bow to Kapardin, destroyer of all diseases.

VmP 61.15

पद्मनाभं हिरण्याक्षं नमस्ये स्कन्दमव्ययम्

I bow to Padmanabha, to Hiranyaksha, and to the imperishable Skanda.

VmP 61.16

सदा हंसं नमस्ये च नमस्ये प्रामतर्पणम्

I always bow to Hamsa, and I bow to the supreme object of offering.

VmP 61.17

नमस्ये श्रीनिवासं च नमस्ये पुरुषोत्तमम्

I bow to Srinivasa, and I bow to the supreme Purusha.

VmP 61.18

वनस्पतिं पशुपतिं नमस्ये प्रभुमव्ययाम्

I bow to the Lord of plants, to Pashupati, to the unchanging Lord.

VmP 61.19

नमस्ये सर्वमनघं गौरीशं नकुलीस्वरम्

I bow to the flawless Lord of all, to Gaurisha, to the Lord of the Nagas.

VmP 61.20

यशोधरं महाबाहुं नमस्ये च कुशप्रियम्

I bow to Yashodhara, the mighty-armed, and to the one dear to kusa grass.

VmP 61.21

भद्राक्षं वीरभद्रं च नमस्ये शङ्कुकर्णिकम्

I bow to Bhadraksha, to Virabhadra, and to Shankukarṇika.

VmP 61.22

उपेन्द्र चैव गोविन्दं नमस्ते पङ्कजप्रियम्

I bow to Upendra, to Govinda, and to the one who delights in lotuses.
