By merely worshipping him, you will obtain supreme fame.
Having gone there, he worshipped that renowned linga.

Those men who worship the god Indradyumneshvara
They, delighted and praised by the gods and sages, will go to heaven.
Those who even behold it, whether out of desire or by chance,
They will not fall from heaven as long as there are fourteen Indras; they will always deliver their maternal and paternal lineages.

Because of that fear, the path to heaven became blocked.
At that time, the great sage Nārada, knower of time, arrived.
He was then respectfully greeted and worshipped by the gods according to custom.
Then those gods questioned Nārada, the foremost of sages, about the proper means.
"With such a situation arisen, O great sage, what should be done?"
After meditating for a moment and closing his eyes slightly,
"Go swiftly, though distressed, to the delightful great Kāla forest; worship the supreme liṅga known as Īśāneśvara."
"In the former Īśāna epoch, by the grace of Īśāna, the highest place was attained, even upon the head of Śaṃkara."
"By worshipping that alone, one's heart's desire is indeed obtained."
Hearing Nārada's words, the gods became joyful in heart.

"O Īśāneśāna, O Lord, O Īśāna, O Tatpuruṣa, homage to you!"
"Three-eyed one, radiant Lord, great god, beloved of Umā, obeisance again and again!"
"Salutations to Śambhu, salutations to Rudra, O Virūpākṣa, repeated salutations!"
All stationary beings, all creatures, and all moving things—
The sky is your head, O gods; the moon and sun are your eyes.
