Thus, after oppressing me, the mighty one, protector of the world,
Therefore, O foremost of Danavas, you have inherited the earth from your ancestors.
How much strength do the gods possess, O best of Danavas?

You all should go to the beautiful city of Padmavati, the best of cities.

There is the supreme and excellent holy place called Uttaramānasa.
And there, O noble one, nine treasures also remain.

You will be victorious in all worlds; of this there is no doubt.

A man should always worship Gaṇeśa, the fulfiller of all desires.
Therefore, with all effort, one should go to the great Kālavana.
There, O best of gods, worship the radiant Viṣṇu.
Having heard these words of Brahmā, who spoke with assurance,
They came there, purified themselves, and performed acts such as bathing and giving.
Then all of them respectfully asked Brahmā about the proper procedure.
We wish to hear all this from you, O best knower of Brahman.
The god who wears white garments, who is moon-colored, and four-armed.
One should meditate on the one with a serene face, for the removal of all obstacles.
Those in whose hearts Janardana, dark as a blue lotus, abides—
To him, the remover of all obstacles, the lord of the hosts, I offer homage.
