You have the discus named Sudarśana; thus you are sung by poets as the wielder of the discus.

Let there be steeds for your destruction of enemies, and also, O Hṛṣīkeśa, elephants with excellent tusks.

You alone are Viṣṇu, always worshipped by the gods, remembered by the sages, and famed as Viṣṭaraśravā.
There, established on the sacred grass, the Supreme Person was thus praised by the Creator.
Then the Creator, the Supreme Person, encompassed it with a circuit measuring a yojana on all sides.
There, the Lord of the universe, glorious, Lord of all, the creator of the universe, the all-pervading one.
Thus, that which was formerly known as Kuśasthalī is now called Hemaśṛṅga.

Now listen, as formerly, when the gods were defeated by the armies of the demons.

Meeting each other there, they mutually worshipped one another.

They explained to each other all the reasons for their coming there.
Together with the gods, they went to the god of gods, the great Lord Maheśvara.
He who always bestows prosperity and success, attended by sages and celestial bards.

And frequented by virtuous people of good conduct and merit,
Adorned with jeweled gems and steps, and beautified by divine lakes,
A place free from the six waves of suffering, where birds reside, beginning to sing praises to the Lord of gods and the master of the universe,

Salutations to Vāsudeva, the peaceful one, the lord of the Yadus,
As they were engaged in these hymns, a bodiless voice spoke,

In the delightful great forest of Time, attended by hosts of Brahmarshis,
There is a beautiful place called Kuśasthalī, served by Siddhas and Gandharvas,
