Then, from you as well, a natural portion will arise.
O giver of boons, the world will worship you as Ekānaṃśā, in many forms and with various distinctions, as the fulfiller of all desires.
You alone are Gāyatrī, the one whose mouth is the sacred syllable Oṃ, the speaker of the Veda.
Among people, you are the goddess Kamalā; among the Śūdras, you are their very mother.
You are the fame of the renowned, and the prosperity of all embodied beings.

You are the great boundary of the oceans, and the playfulness of the playful.
Thus, O goddess, being worshipped in the worlds with many forms, all desires will certainly be fulfilled for you—of this there is no doubt.
In this way, she who had arisen was praised by Brahmā.
Where Pārvatī was taken and success was attained by Hara—
There were born two powerful Dānavas, named Caṇḍa and Pracaṇḍa.
There, seeing the Lord of Mountains holding the dice and the dice-cup in his hand—
Calling out 'O goddess of gods!' and saying, 'I am your servant.'
Then, when the god became enamored, those two, thorns to the gods, arrived.
Then Nandī was pierced by them both with tridents.
Seeing Nandina, the son of Śilāda, struck at that time—

He said, 'Let those two great demons be slain; let them be killed.'
When those two powerful Dānavas were seen slain by her—
Therefore, in the world, you will become famous by the name Harasiddhi; thus she became known as Harasiddhi at Mahākāla.
Whoever beholds Hara-siddhi with supreme devotion, O best of men,
The primal accomplished one, the great goddess, eternal, whose form is space,
Whoever remembers the mantra 'Hara-siddhi,' which is four syllables,
The man who worships Hara-siddhi on the great Navami,
On Navami, the goddess Hara-siddhi, beloved of Hara, when worshipped,
She is holy, she is pure, and everywhere bestows happiness.
On the great Navami, O Vyasa, buffalo-demons and the like are slain.
Thus, in the eighty-one-thousand-verse Skanda Mahapurana, in the fifth Avanti section, in the account of the greatness of the Avanti region, the nineteenth chapter named 'The Greatness of Hara-siddhi' is concluded.
If one worships with golden flowers, his accomplishment is never diminished.
Thus ends the glory of Vatayakshini. Whoever gives sesame with devotion is not born as a demon.
