Made alive by the goddess, he immediately arose at that moment.
Seeing him of wondrous form, she kept calling him 'son' again and again.
Then the goddess said to her son: 'This one is born from my body's ointment.'
This head, which Skanda joined, is declared to be great by you.

Then Skanda gave him a small axe for play.

Drawn by the fragrance of that food, a mouse emerged from its hole.
When it was seen, listen with focused mind to the merit that arises.
Whatever sin is committed in childhood, old age, or youth—

There, after bathing with devotion, whoever beholds Vināyaka—
Reciting the mantra 'of the Gaṇas', and circumambulating three times—
Therefore, with all effort, one should behold Vināyaka.

At weddings, quarrels, battles, departures, or in agricultural work, whatever he desires, all is accomplished by his grace.
Whoever, with concentration, performs the great Vināyaka pacification—
What are the mantras, what is the procedure? I am truly most curious.
One should perform Gaṇeśa's pacification during the best lunar strength.
