Again, where is your dancing, which brings great good, and where is the bondage of karma in Kāśī?
Both lifespan and future are entirely wasted.
I will go to Kāśī; come, you too, leaving behind illusion.

For those whose conduct is firm on the right path, even if far away, they are near.
Where was I, a child in that forest, with a mind troubled by worry?
This is the sport of the three-eyed Lord, whose devotee may be anywhere.
I did not worship Śaṃbhu at any time in my previous birth.
And in this birth, due to childhood, I have clearly not worshipped him either.
It is known that my devotion to my teacher is the reason for Śaṃbhu's favor.
Or perhaps, the three-eyed one acts according to reasons, just like other gods.
If there is no compassion for me, how could I have attained the company of ascetics?
Neither gifts, nor sacrifices, nor austerities, nor vows—
Even then, that Lord of all might bestow supreme compassion.
He, the pure son of Tvaṣṭṛ, is considered worthy of compassion.

He brought a great collection of seasonal flowers from the forest.
Thus, with his mind intent on worshipping the liṅga, the son of Tvaṣṭṛ—
From that very liṅga, Bhava manifested and spoke.
I am greatly pleased, O child, by your mind devoted to your teacher.

You shall have the ability to accomplish whatever you desire.
O son of Tvaṣṭṛ, pleased by your worship, I shall grant you other boons as well.
You shall be able to work with gold and other metals, with wood, and with stones.
Also with fragrant substances like camphor, and with liquids as well.
You shall be able to perform work with all kinds of materials.

And here, for the satisfaction of each and every one, you shall act accordingly.
All works of craftsmanship, and also the arts of music and dance,
Various kinds of machines, and the making of diverse weapons—
You alone knew how to create such things in ancient times, as no one else will ever learn.
All magical arts of illusion will be under your command.
