O sage, none is as dear to me as one initiated or worshipping me in that way.
Such satisfaction is not mine from gifts, nor is such satisfaction mine from sacrifices.
Whoever, with a pure mind, praises this grove of bliss,
Your desires will be fulfilled, O ascetic Anasūyeya.
And now, speak another boon—what shall I give you, O sinless one?
For only she possesses such power, by whose austerity even the angry are appeased.

This is the linga called Kamada, O Dhurjati, here.
The linga established by you, named Durvaseshvara,

Thus granting boons, Shambhu entered into that linga.
Therefore, with all effort, Kamishvara should always be worshipped in Kashi.
By bathing in Kamakunda, for the pacification of great sins, whoever listens, the wise, both will become free from sin.
Thus, in the glorious Skanda Mahapurana of eighty-one thousand verses, in the fourth Kashi section, in the northern part, the fifty-fifth chapter named 'Durvasa's Granting of Boons.'

Tell me, O god of gods, the origin of that linga.
The wondrous manifestation of the linga of Vishvakarma, O lord.

Once, when the rainy season had arrived, his teacher spoke.
That which should never break at any time, nor fall into oldness.

Free from leather and other bindings, let them give me comfort as I walk.
The teacher’s daughter also spoke: ‘Make for me earrings, as crafted by Tvaṣṭṛ, fitting for my ears.’
‘Give me toys and amusements, for I am a young girl.’
