बाणतीर्थं च तस्यारात्तत्सहस्रभुजप्रदम्
There is also the Bāṇa tīrtha close by, which grants a thousand arms.
गोप्रतारेश्वरं नाम तदग्रे तीर्थमुत्तमम्
In front of it is the excellent tīrtha named Gopratāreśvara.
तीर्थं हिरण्यगर्भाख्यं तद्याम्ये सर्वपापहृत्
There is the tīrtha called Hiraṇyagarbha in the south, which removes all sins.
ततः प्रणवतीर्थं च सर्वतीर्थोत्तमोत्तमम्
Then comes the Praṇava tīrtha, the most excellent of all tīrthas.
ततः पिशंगिला तीर्थं दर्शनादपि पापहृत्
Next is the Piśaṃgilā tīrtha, which removes sins even by being seen.
स्नात्वा पिशंगिला तीर्थे दत्त्वा दानं च किंचन 4.2.84.
By bathing at the Piśaṃgilā tīrtha and giving even a little gift,
यो वै पिशंगिला तीर्थे स्नात्वा मामर्चयिष्यति
Whoever bathes at the Piśaṃgilā tīrtha and worships me there,
ततस्त्रैविष्टपीदृष्टि निर्मलीकृत पुष्कलम्
After that, he attains a vision of heaven, his merits purified and abundant.
महतीं श्रियमाप्नोति मानवोतीव निश्चलाम्
He obtains great and unwavering prosperity, surpassing that of men.
ततो नागेश्वरं तीर्थं महाघपरिशोधनम्
Then comes the Nāgeśvara tīrtha, which thoroughly cleanses great sins.
तद्दक्षिणे महापुण्यं कर्णादित्याख्यमुत्तमम्
To the south of that is the highly meritorious and excellent Karṇāditya Tirtha.
ततो भैरवतीर्थं च महाघौघक्षयप्रदम्
Then comes the Bhairava Tirtha, which destroys great heaps of sin.
भौमाष्टम्यां तत्र नरः स्नात्वा संतर्पयेत्पितॄन्
There, on the eighth lunar day falling on a Monday, a man should bathe and offer oblations to the ancestors.
तीर्थं खर्वनृसिंहाख्यं तीर्थाद्भरवतः पुरः
In front of Bhairava Tirtha is the Kharva-Nṛsiṃha Tirtha.
मृकंडस्य मुनेस्तीर्थं तद्याम्यामतिनिर्मलम
There is the pure and southern Tirtha of the sage Mṛkaṇḍa.
ततः पंचनदाख्यं वै सर्वतीर्थनिषेवितम् 4.2.84.
After that is the place called Pañcanada, frequented by all the holy bathing places.
ब्रह्मांडोदरवर्तीनि यानि तीर्थानि सर्वतः
All the Tirthas that exist within the cosmic egg are present there.
सर्वदा यत्र सर्वाणि दशम्यादिदिनत्रयम्
At all times, on the tenth lunar day and the following three days, all of them are present there.
भूरिशः सर्वतीर्थानि मध्य काशि पदेपदे
Countless holy bathing places are found at every step in the middle of Kāśī.
अप्येकं कार्तिकस्याहस्तत्र वै सफलीकृतम्
Even a single day of Kārtika observed there surely bears fruit.
सर्वाण्यपि च तीर्थानि युगपत्तुलितान्यपि
Even if all the Tirthas were weighed together at once,
स्नात्वा पांचनदे तीर्थे दृष्ट्वा वै बिंदुमाधवम्
One who bathes at the Pañcanada Tirtha and beholds Bindumādhava,
ततो ज्ञानहदं तीर्थं जडानामपि जाड्यहृत्
Then comes the Jñānahrada Tirtha, which removes dullness even from the dull-minded.
तत्र ज्ञानह्रदे स्नात्वा दृष्ट्वा ज्ञानेश्वरं नरः
There, after bathing in the Jñānahrada and seeing Jñāneśvara, a man—
ततोस्ति मंगलं तीर्थं सर्वामंगलनाशनम्
After that is the Maṅgala Tirtha, which destroys all inauspiciousness.
अमंगलानि नश्येयुर्भवेयुर्मंगलानि च ।। 4.2.84.
Inauspicious things are destroyed and auspicious things arise.
मयूखमालिनस्तीर्थं तदग्रे मलनाशनम्
Ahead of that is the Mayūkhamālina Tirtha, which destroys impurity.
मखतीर्थं तु तत्रैव मखैश्वर समीपतः
There also is the Makhatirtha, near the lord of sacrifices.
तत्पार्श्वे बिंदुतीर्थं च परमज्ञानकारणम्
Beside that is the Bindutirtha, the cause of supreme knowledge.
पिप्पलादस्य च मुनेस्तीर्थं तद्याम्यदिक्स्थितम्
There is also the tirtha of the sage Pippalada, situated in the southern direction.
