ततो वृद्धार्कतीर्थं च विधितीर्थं ततः परम्
After that is Vṛddhārka Tīrtha, and then the superior Vidhi Tīrtha.
ततो नृसिंहतीर्थं च महाभयनिवारणम्
Then comes Nṛsiṃha Tīrtha, which removes great fear.
ततोपि पुण्यदं नृणां तीर्थं चित्ररथेश्वरम् 4.2.83.१ ०
After that, the meritorious Citraratheśvara Tīrtha, which bestows merit upon people.
तत्राल्पमपि यच्छेद्यत्कल्पांतेप्यक्षयं हि तत् 4.2.83.
Whatever little is given there, even at the end of an age, is truly inexhaustible.
अप्येकं यो महारुद्रं जपेद्वीरेश सन्निधौ 4.2.83.
Even one who recites the Mahārudra hymn once in the presence of Vīreśa—
इति श्रुत्वा महेशानो महीप तनयोदितम्
Having heard thus, O King, Maheśāna listened to what the prince had spoken.
आकर्णय क्षोणिसुर यथा स्थाणुरचीकरत्
Hear now, O lord of the earth, how Sthāṇu performed his acts.
संगमे तत्र निष्णातः संगमेशं समर्च्य च
There, having bathed at the confluence and worshipped Saṃgameśa—
तत्र पादोदकं तीर्थं यत्र देवेन शार्ङ्गिणा
There is the tīrtha of the water from the feet, where the god with the Śārṅga bow performed ablutions.
विप्णुपादोदके तीर्थे वारिकार्यं करोति यः
Whoever performs water rites at the tīrtha of Viṣṇu's foot-water—
कृतपादोदक स्नानः कृतकेशवपूजनः
Having bathed with the foot-water and worshipped Keśava as prescribed—
काश्यां सा भूमिरुद्दिष्टा श्वेतद्वीप इति द्विजैः
In Kāśī, that place is designated by the twice-born as Śvetadvīpa.
ततः पादोदकात्तीर्थात्तीर्थं क्षीराब्धिसंज्ञकम्
Then from the tīrtha of the foot-water is the tīrtha known as Kṣīrābdhi.
क्षीरोदाद्दक्षिणेभागे तीर्थं शंखाख्यनुत्तमम्
On the southern side of Kṣīrābdhi is the excellent tīrtha called Śaṅkha.
अर्वाक्च शंखतीर्थाद्वै चक्रतीर्थमनुत्तमम्
South of Śaṅkha Tīrtha is the unsurpassed Cakra Tīrtha.
गदातीर्थं तदग्रे तु संसारगदनाशनम् 4.2.84.
In front of that is Gadā Tīrtha, which destroys the disease of worldly existence.
पद्माकृत्पद्मतीर्थं च तदग्रे पितृतृप्तिकृत्
Ahead of that is Padma Tīrtha, shaped like a lotus, which brings satisfaction to the ancestors.
ततस्तीर्थं महालक्ष्म्या महापुण्यफलप्रदम्
Then comes the tīrtha of Mahālakṣmī, bestowing the great fruit of merit.
ततो गारुत्मतं तीर्थं संसारगरनाशनम्
After that is Gārutmata Tīrtha, which destroys the poison of worldly existence.
ततो नारदतीर्थं च ब्रह्मविद्यैककारणम्
Then is Nārada Tīrtha, the sole cause of knowledge of Brahman.
प्रह्लादतीर्थं तद्याम्ये महाभक्तिफलप्रदम्
Prahlāda Tīrtha is there in the south, bestowing the great fruit of devotion.
अंबरीषं ततस्तीर्थं महापातकनाशनम्
Then comes Ambarīṣa Tīrtha, which destroys great sins.
आदित्यकेशवं नाम तदग्रे तीर्थमुत्तमम्
Ahead of that is the excellent tīrtha called Āditya Keśava.
दत्तात्रेयस्य तत्रास्ति तीर्थं त्रैलोक्यपावनम्
There is the tīrtha of Dattātreya, which purifies the three worlds.
तदग्रे भार्गवं तीर्थं महाज्ञानसमर्पकम्
Ahead of that is Bhārgava Tīrtha, which bestows supreme knowledge.
ततो वामनतीर्थं च विष्णुसान्निध्यहेतुकम् 4.2.84.
Then is Vāmana Tīrtha, which brings the presence of Viṣṇu.
नरनारायणाख्यं हि ततस्तीर्थं शुभप्रदम्
Next is the tīrtha named Nara-Nārāyaṇa, which bestows auspiciousness.
यज्ञवाराहतीर्थं च ततो दक्षिणतः शुभम्
Then, to the south, is the auspicious Yajñavārāha Tīrtha.
विदारनारसिंहाख्यं तीर्थं तत्रास्ति पावनम्
There is the purifying tīrtha called Vidāra-Nārasiṃha.
गोपीगोविंदतीर्थं च ततो वैष्णवलोकदम्
Then comes Gopī-Govinda Tīrtha, which grants access to the world of Viṣṇu.
