And in the west, the Yamuneśa is worshipped by men with devotion.
By worshipping that liṅga, the state of being in the womb is forbidden for people.
After bathing at the Pilipilā ford, near Triviṣṭapa,
Even by remembering the liṅga of Triviṣṭapa, a person—
There is no doubt that those who see Triviṣṭapa become its creators.
Those who have bowed to the Triviṣṭapa liṅga in the forest of bliss—
Are purified from sins accumulated over seven births; of this there is no doubt.
If one sees that Triviṣṭapa there, I consider it even greater than Kāśī.
In a moment, that person is cleansed of sin and will not be born in the womb again.
Whoever bathes at the Pilipilā ford, in the waters flowing north—
What benefit is there in performing śrāddha and similar rites at Gayā, in comparison to this?
By beholding the Triviṣṭapa Liṅga, one attains the merit of bathing at Koṭitīrtha.
Any sin committed in Kāśī leads to the realm of Piśācas.
But by beholding the Triviṣṭapa Liṅga, even that sin will be destroyed.
There, indeed, are all the sacred waters, and that place is the very ground of Oṃ.
The Liṅga there is supremely excellent, auspicious in form, and is the Three-Eyed One.
Among the radiant, as the sun; among the visible, as the moon.
The path for worshippers of the Three-Eyed One is not a distant one.
The supreme good that is gained by worshipping the Three-Eyed One even once—
Those of great wisdom who worship the Three-Eyed Liṅga in Kāśī—
Even after renouncing everything and undertaking the Pāśupata vow—
While the great Liṅga is present, the destroyer of great heaps of sin—
By worshipping the great Liṅga, even once, the Three-Eyed One—
Even a brahmin-killer, a drinker of liquor, a thief, or one who violates the teacher's bed—
Or one who is devoted to another's wife, or delights in harming others—
Or one ungrateful, a destroyer of embryos, or even the husband of a low woman—
A killer of cows, a killer of women, a killer of Śūdras, or a defiler of maidens—
A blasphemer, an atheist, or one who gives false testimony—
Even those of sinful conduct, except for one who reviles Shiva,
The fool who delights in slandering Shiva, who disparages the scriptures of Shiva,
