When the devotees gathered for the pilgrimage, having arrived everywhere in the morning.
They sing sweet songs and dance in their own playful manner.
With this very earthly body, the great-minded one.
Manifested from the linga, a radiant form, clothed in matted locks.
Even today, on the fourteenth day of Radha's bright fortnight, the residents of the sacred place.
There, keeping vigil on the fourteenth day, having fasted.
Within the middle of the cosmic egg, all the sacred places everywhere.
All the shrines, quickly, and even the seas and mountains.
Those who revile Mahadeva, and those who revile the sacred place, O wise one.
Nowhere on the surface of the world is there a linga like Omkara.
Hearing this chapter, a person whose mind is absorbed in it.
I am not satisfied, O Vishakha; tell me the story of the heavenly realm.
And how was it told to the Goddess by the God of gods, O six-faced one?
Skanda said: Listen, O sage, I shall tell you a tale that removes fatigue.
That seat is called Virajā; there stands the Triviṣṭapa liṅga.
There, three streams arising from pitchers have come together.
These, bearing the form of flowing streams, are manifestly for the bathing of the liṅga.
Indeed, these three rivers, at the three junctions of the day, are bearers of pitchers.
Around the liṅgas, those rivers are established by their own names.
To the south of Triviṣṭapa is the Sarasvatīśvara liṅga.
And in the west, the Yamuneśa is worshipped by men with devotion.
By worshipping that liṅga, the state of being in the womb is forbidden for people.
After bathing at the Pilipilā ford, near Triviṣṭapa,
Even by remembering the liṅga of Triviṣṭapa, a person—
There is no doubt that those who see Triviṣṭapa become its creators.
Those who have bowed to the Triviṣṭapa liṅga in the forest of bliss—
Are purified from sins accumulated over seven births; of this there is no doubt.
If one sees that Triviṣṭapa there, I consider it even greater than Kāśī.
In a moment, that person is cleansed of sin and will not be born in the womb again.
Whoever bathes at the Pilipilā ford, in the waters flowing north—
