A man who bathes in the Durgā pool, which removes all distress—
That Durgā, together with her powers, protects Kāśī on all sides.
This field is protected by her, and likewise by the other nine powers.

Therefore, with all effort, by those devoted to Kāśī,
Whoever has true love for Kāśī, let him approach his guru with reverence.

By merely seeing that seat, a man becomes pure.
The sacred place called Pilipilā, renowned in the waters of the Dyunadī river,

In the midst of the three worlds, gods, sages, men, and serpents—
From that time, that sacred place and that liṅga of the Three-eyed One—
The greatness of the liṅga of Triviṣṭapa was declared by Pinākin.
