A woman with a cakravarti or right-turning conch on her palm is a sovereign.
तुलामानाकृतीरेखे वणिक्पत्नीत्वहेतुके
Lines shaped like scales or measures indicate a merchant's wife.
रेखा प्रासादवज्राभा ब्रूयुस्तीर्थकरं सुतम्
Lines resembling a palace or a diamond signify a son who is a Tirthankara.
चामरांकुशकोदंडै राजपत्नी भवेद्ध्रुवम्
If there are marks of a fly-whisk, goad, or bow, she will surely be a queen.
यदि सा पतिहंत्री स्याद्दूरतस्तां त्यजेत्सुधीः नितंबिनी कीर्तिमती त्यागेन पृथिवीतले
If she is a husband-slayer, the wise should avoid her from afar; by abandoning her, one gains fame and virtue on earth.
