भ्राम्यतीव मम स्वांतमाधाय तदवेक्षणम्

कदा वज्रांगदः सिद्धः कथं देवमपूजयत्

अथास्य महती सेना वाहमार्गानुसारिणी
Then, a great army followed the path of his vehicle.
समदृश्यत भूपालस्तादृशो धैर्यसागरः
The king, an ocean of courage, was seen as such.
ततस्तामागतां सेनामवनीपतिरादृतः
Then the king of the earth respectfully received that arriving army.
स्वकीयमखिलं कोशं देशानपि महाफलान्
He gave his entire treasury and also the most fruitful lands.
गौतमस्याश्रमाभ्याशे स्वयं कृततपोवनः
Near Gautama's hermitage, he himself established a sacred grove for austerities.
रत्नांगदाख्यं तनयं स्थापयित्वा निजे पदे
Leaving his son named Ratnangada in his own place,
परितः शोणशैलस्य परिपूर्णजलाशयान् 1.3.2.24.
All around the Śoṇa mountain were lakes filled to the brim with water.
तेजसारुणनाथस्य ज्वलनस्तंभरूपिणः
By the radiance of the lord Aruṇanātha, who is the embodiment of a pillar of fire,
सौंदर्यशालिनीरात्मपरिवारवरांगनाः
There were noble women, adorned with beauty, who formed his own retinue.
अथागतेनागस्त्येन लोपामुद्रासखेन सः
Then, Agastya arrived there, accompanied by his friend Lopāmudrā.
प्रत्यहं नवतीर्थाख्ये सरसि स्नानमाचरन्
Every day, he performed his bath in the lake known as Navatīrtha.
महिषासुरसंहारकारिणी मानवेश्वरः

Before the monthly flag-hoisting and other festivals at the holy place,
अंगं प्रदक्षिणं चास्य विदधे विशदाशयः
With a pure heart, he performed circumambulation of his body.
