And you are upheld by those very gods, called the Sarogeyas.
Indeed, these universal enemies would be slain by means of a device.
Then Bhima, bowing, spoke with mind, speech, and body enhanced.
O Supreme Person, Lord, be gracious to me, who am but a child.
Returning again to the battlefield, he spoke to Barbarika.
You are honored by all the worlds; grant them the boons they desire.
Dwell here in this place; forgive whatever wrong has been done.
And Vasudeva accomplished all the tasks above; I will now declare the hymn by which the lord of the Yakshas is pleased.

Victory, victory to you, king of Yakshas, surrounded by eighty-four crores, known as Suryavarcha! Victory to you, who set forth to relieve the burden of the earth, who were born in the race of the spirits through a light curse! Victory to you, whose belly is like a water-pot, who are the royal swan among birds! Victory to you, who increase the joy of Ghatotkacha, known as Barbarika! Victory to you, who attained incomparable strength by worship and by the secret field taught by Krishna! Victory to you, bestower of success and victory! Victory to you, lord of crores, destroyer of the enemies of Pingala and Repala, blazing like the fire in a forest of palasha trees! Victory to you, who, between earth and the underworld, are adorned by the company of serpent maidens! Victory to you, crusher of Bhima’s pride! Victory to you, who began the destruction of the entire Kaurava army at the destined moment! Victory to you, who, having received a boon from Krishna, are able to grant all boons! Victory, victory to you, who are worshipped in the age of Kali! Salutations and homage to you! Protect, protect us!
Whoever, with a devoted heart, worships and praises him in the month of Shravana, with a hundred lamps and cakes, he is pleased with that person.
Then the Brahmins and Narada, having worshipped Maheshvara,
For the welfare of the worlds, they established the supreme linga at Kedara.
Here, one who bathes in the pond and performs the ancestral rite according to rule,
He will never again drink his mother’s milk, but will attain liberation.
Having granted the boon, he himself remained in the auspicious city on earth.
By bowing to Jayaditya, one attains the world of Rudra.
There is no destruction of their lineage, by the grace of Jayaditya.
They are endowed with sons and grandsons, and possess wealth and grain.
Thus, O Brahmins, I have briefly spoken of the secret field, as declared by the Self-born, which grants all desired aims.
Thus has the sacred origin of the earth-ocean been described to you.
Whoever, being learned, causes this supreme greatness to be heard—
If one causes the entire greatness of the secret field to be heard—
The greatness of Koṭitīrtha and of the city on earth—
A man who bathes at Koṭitīrtha and carefully performs śrāddha—
Whatever sacred fords exist in heaven, the underworld, or on earth—
And the merit gained by sacrifices like the Aśvamedha, performed with proper gifts—
That merit, O Brahmins, is surely obtained at Koṭitīrtha, without doubt.
This is indeed pure, ever bestowing merit, bringing fame, supreme, and remover of sin.
Blessed, renowned, certainly of great merit, granting heaven and liberation, and destroying the sins of men.
Salutation to Śrī Gaṇeśa. I honor that Lord Maheśāna, the beloved child of Maheśāna.
