He who himself produces dust and is covered by it, becomes angry because of it.
Thus praised by the son of Pāṇḍu, the goddess with the complexion of dark clouds—
Shining like a hundred million flashes of lightning, splendid with her crown—
Adorned with a flowing necklace like the river of the gods, and with earrings made of flowers from the wish-fulfilling tree.
Her radiance, like the tusk of an elephant or the moon, dispelled the great darkness of delusion and fear in her devotees.
She was wrapped in a garment shining like lightning, resembling a streak of cloud.
Her feet, which grant refuge to the virtuous, were adorned with resounding anklets.
She was surrounded by groups of goddesses, adorned with garlands of a hundred lotuses.
The king of kings fell to the ground and stood there, saying again and again, 'Salutations, salutations!'
Thus, running forward to her, he said, 'Victory, Mother!'
Having bowed down, he repeatedly sang, 'Salutations to you, salutations to you!'
Again he said, 'Be gracious to me, forgive my sins, be gracious to me.'
Thus praised, the Goddess herself raised the king up.
Then she granted him three eyes—two outer and one supreme inner eye.
I do not display anger everywhere, O Vṛkodara.
This act was not pleasing to Kṛṣṇa, my brother, nor did I become angry.
And you constantly reproach me; that, O Vṛkodara, I know.
Therefore, such conduct must never be repeated by you in any way.
So now, let everything be mutually forgiven in this manner.
Whenever there is a decline of righteousness, Hari manifests.
And now Hari has been born on earth as the son of Vasudeva.
Thus, let the venerable Kṛṣṇa, my brother, be duly honored.
Those noble men who praise me as Bhīmabhaginī in this way,
And you, O hero, will grant your brother victory in the great battle.
Having ruled the kingdom for thirty-six years thereafter,
In this very land, then, a great demon named Loha will arise.
Then, by your action, he will become invulnerable to all beings.
Having crossed all the snow, they will be submerged in the sandy ocean.
There, Loha will be made blind, and the city will be known as Lohāṇa.
Then, when the Kali age arrives, one called Kelo will appear.
