Embracing and establishing him, they sang together with Rudra.
This statement is declared in the scriptures; you should not act otherwise.
As you, about to die, spoke the words 'son, son' after him,
Then even Bhima will abandon your great sin.
But if you wish to renounce it, then listen to this instruction as well.
Your death has been foretold; await it if you so desire.
Therefore, wait for that time, as we have requested.
Rudra and the goddess Camunda, with reproach, spoke these words:
For the sake of the Pandavas gaining the earth, why did you neglect this?
And because of the act of Candika, this great battle was undertaken by him.
Having spoken thus, all the gods and goddesses departed from your sight.
Astonished, the Pandavas worshipped him again and again.
Even Bhima was liberated there by Rudra; thus, it shines greatly.
In the month of Jyeshtha, during the dark fortnight, on the fourteenth day, having fasted,
Just as the seven principal lingas here are worshipped excellently, they yield great fruits.
Yudhishthira, endowed with great brilliance, began his journey.
At dawn, in purity, having bathed and worshipped the divine lingas as prescribed, at the time of departure, one should always recite the prayer praised by Krishna.
Having bowed to you, I seek refuge in you through mind, speech, body, and actions.
O giver of fearlessness like Sankarshana, whose radiance equals Krishna's hue,
By you, this entire universe is pervaded, O Lord, in your unmanifest form.
In all undertakings, with my companions, I act for you.
The son of the wind, laughing with jealousy, spoke these words.
Those who speak of you thus, O king, say, 'Yudhishthira is omniscient.'
Who indeed is foremost among the wise, the best among those who know all scriptures?
Because you alone know this, you are praised in all the scriptures.
The conscious person and nature, which is unconscious,
Thus, becoming the person himself, O Yudhishthira, with vain understanding,
He should never place his head anywhere without removing his footwear.
If, O Partha, your speech stands as if bound, restrained by others,
Or, considering the great Lord as unperceived, O wise one,
