Siddheya, Valika, Nīlapāda, and Eka-daṃṣṭrika—
Ūrdhvapāda, Kambala, Khañjana, and Khara as well—
Jaṭālopa and Jaṭāla—I bow to my own field guardians.
Ṭhaṃṭhaṃkaṇa, Jambara, one with a mouth like a spark, and one shining like lightning—
The one who makes a whistling sound, five-faced, Barbarī, and the one of terrifying form—
Raurava, Lamboṣṭha, Vaṇija, and Sujaṭālika—
Who utters the sound 'huṃ' in all forms, and is fearsome in the cremation grounds—
The one who is a single tree among trees, with a fierce face at night—
Difficult to ascend in the crossroads, and the Kuravas on the mountains as well—
In the field of juice, the overseer of juice; in the sacrificial enclosures, Koṭana—
Thus, to these sixty-four, I take refuge in the guardians of the field.
Whoever, being pure, worships the guardians of the field in this way in all undertakings—
Knowing this procedure for the field, as well as the victory,
He then bowed to the goddess and worshipped the banyan-eyed one.
Together with those people, a Brahmin woman named Sunanda was brought.
She performed difficult and very severe austerities.
Kulānandinī observed a month-long fast in the month of Kārtika.
She performed ritual bathing at the confluence of the great river and ocean.
Having been cleansed of sin, she went to the realm of Umā, welcomed by her.
Hara, abiding in the Siddha-liṅga, being pleased with her, granted a boon.
For her, all that was declared fruitless; it must be maintained by me with flowers, incense, offerings, and this mantra, with devotion.
Sunande, you are delightful; accept this worship from me.
Thus, having worshipped her, bowed, and sought forgiveness from the banyan-eyed one,
Vijaya, possessing great wisdom, knowing this glory,
Then, having praised Siddhāmbikā, he recited the Aparājitā mantra.
By merely remembering her, all suffering is destroyed.
