Thus, after performing long austerities, I have established these auspicious goddesses.
And in the third direction, she too has been established and set by me.

Blessed are those noble men who behold her always.
Thus, these three Durgās are established in the eastern direction.

And the goddess Suvarṇākṣī, who protects the cosmic egg,
Whoever will bow to her and worship her with devotion,
Another great Durgā, honored and established, was brought by me from the lowest netherworld with great devotion.

Therefore, this goddess should always be worshipped by men who desire strength.
Likewise, the goddess who grants victory over the three worlds stands in the third direction; by worshipping her, the lord of Rohiṇī attained conquest over the three worlds.
In this way, these goddesses are in the western and northern directions; now listen further.

By her power, Ekavīrā once reduced the worlds to ashes.

Such is Ekavīrā, this eternal power.
I brought her here from the world of Brahmā, after worshipping her, O Bhārata.
The second is the goddess called Harasiddhi, Durgā of great might.
When she was sought by Pārvatī, who was situated north of Śīkoṭa—
Then, by the power of mantra, Girijā, the devoted wife, was enchanted.
From the body of Rudra, she who destroys suffering emerged.
That goddess, with a thousand arms, attacked and crushed her foes.
From that time onward, she is known in the world as Harasiddhi.

By worshipping her, Sugrīva and others were freed from faults.
