ममेश भूतेश महेश्वरोसि कामेश वागीश बलेश धीश ३४.
You are my Lord, Lord of beings, the great Lord; Lord of desire, Lord of speech, Lord of strength, Lord of intellect.
इति संस्तूय वरदं शूलपाणिमुमापतिम् ३४.
Thus praised, the boon-giver, the wielder of the trident, the husband of Uma—
एवं भक्तिपराक्रांतमात्मयोग्यं स्तवं शिवः ३४.
Shiva, pleased by this hymn, filled with devotion and fitting to my own nature—
त्वया दुःखं न संचिंत्यं मम भक्तवधात्मकम् ३४.
By you, sorrow should not be considered, for the killing of my devotee is my own nature.
ये च सायं तथा प्रातस्त्वत्कृतेन स्तवेन माम् ३४.
Those who, in the evening and likewise in the morning, recite this hymn composed by you to me—
न व्याधिर्न च दारिद्र्यं न चैवेष्टवियोजनम् ३४.
Neither disease, nor poverty, nor separation from desired things—
तथान्यानपि दास्यामि वरान्परमदुर्लभान् ३४.
I shall also grant to others boons that are exceedingly difficult to obtain.
महीसा गरकूले तु ये मां स्तोष्यंति पूजया ३४.
Those who, at the confluence of the ocean and river, praise me with worship—
सरस्यत्र च ये स्नानं प्रकरिष्यंति मानवाः ३४.
And those people who bathe in that lake—
कुमारेशं तु मां भक्त्या महीसागरसंगमे ३४.
Who worship me as Kumāreśa with devotion at the meeting of ocean and river—
जातिस्मृतिरियं पुत्र यस्यां जातौ प्रजायते ३४.
This remembrance of birth, O son, arises in those born there.
यस्मिन्काले ह्यनावृष्टिर्जायते कृत्तिकासुत ३४.
Whenever there is drought, O son of Krittikā—
एकरात्रं त्रिरात्रं वा पञ्चरात्रं च सप्त वा ३४.
For one night, or three nights, or five nights, or even seven—
करवीरै रक्तपुष्पैर्जपापुष्पैस्तथैव च ३४.
With oleander, red flowers, and hibiscus flowers as well—
भोजयेद्ब्रह्णांश्चैव तापसाञ्छंसिवव्रतान् ३४.
One should feed Brahmins and ascetics who observe the Śiva vow.
भूमिदानं ततः कुर्यात्तत्तो दद्याद्गवाह्निकम् ३४.
Then one should give land, and after that, offer the daily gift of cows.
अनेनैव विधानेन कृतेन तु द्विजोत्तमैः ३४.
By this very procedure, performed by the best of twice-born—
विविधैः पूर्यते धान्यः शाद्वलैश्च वसुन्धरा ३४.
The earth is filled with various grains and with green grass.
धर्मयुक्तो भवेद्राजा परचक्रैर्न पीड्यते ३४.
A king who is devoted to righteousness is not oppressed by hostile forces.
कन्यादान फलं तस्य नात्र कार्या विचारणा ३४.
He attains the fruit of giving a maiden in marriage; there is no doubt about this.
अग्निष्टोमस्य यज्ञस्य फलं तस्योपजायते ३४.
He obtains the result of performing the Agniṣṭoma sacrifice.
रुद्रलोके वसेत्तावद्यावदाभूतसंप्लवम् ३४.
He dwells in the realm of Rudra until the dissolution of all beings.
पौर्णमास्याममावास्यां संक्रांतौ वैधृते तथा ३४.
On the full moon, new moon, solstice, and during Vaidhṛti as well,
भक्त्या योभ्यर्चयेन्मां च तस्य पुण्यफलं श्रृणु ३४.
Whoever worships me with devotion at those times—hear the merit he gains.
यच्चर्चितेषु लिंगेषु सर्वेषु स्यात्फलं च तत् ३४.
Whatever fruit arises from worshipping all the liṅgas,
निश्चितं लभते मर्त्यः कुमारेश्वरसेवया ३४.
A mortal certainly attains that by serving Kumāreśvara.
परं पाशुपतं योगं प्राप्य याति लयं मयि ३४.
Having attained the supreme Pāśupata yoga, he merges into me.
दिव्येनाष्टविधेनात्र कोशः साधारणोऽत्र च ३४.
Here, the treasury is shared, endowed with eightfold divinity.
अघोरेणैव तत्तोयं दद्याद्दिव्यस्य कारणे ३४.
One should offer that water with the Aghora mantra for the sake of the divine.
यदि धर्मस्तथा सत्यमीश्वरोऽत्र जगत्त्रये ३४.
If righteousness and truth exist, then the Lord is present in the three worlds.
