यस्तु पुष्पगृहं कुर्यान्नरः शुद्धाशयो भवेत् ३४.
Whoever builds a flower-house becomes a person of pure intent.
भूषणांबरदानेन नरो भवति भोगभाक् ३४.
By giving ornaments and garments, a person becomes an enjoyer of pleasures.
रम्यं वितानं यो दद्याच्छत्रुभिर्नाभूयते ३४.
Whoever gives a beautiful canopy is not overcome by enemies.
शंखघंटाप्रदानेन विद्वान्भवति शब्दवान् ३४.
By giving conch shells and bells, a person becomes learned and eloquent.
नमस्कारं प्रणामं च कृत्वा जायेन्महाकुले ३४.
By offering salutations and bowing, one is born in a noble family.
विमुच्यते मनोमोहैर्भक्त्या स्तुत्वा च मां नरः ३४.
A person, praising me with devotion, is freed from delusions of the mind.
आरार्तिकं भ्रामयित्वा अर्तिहीनः प्रजायते ३४.
After waving the lamp for worship, one is born free from distress.
नत्वा दत्त्वाथ शक्त्या च दानं लिंगस्य संनिधौ ३४.
After bowing and giving according to one's ability in the presence of the linga, one attains merit.
प्रणामात्पंचदश च स्नानाद्विंशतिं पूजया ३४.
From bowing, fifteen; from bathing, twenty; from worship, one gains merit.
एतत्सर्वं यथोद्दिष्टं कुमारात्र भविष्यति ३४.
All this, as declared, will come to pass, O Kumara.
वाराणस्यां यथा वत्स विश्वनाथोऽस्मि संस्थितः॥ ३४.
Just as, O child, I am established as Vishvanatha in Varanasi.
गुप्तक्षेत्रे तथा स्थास्ये कुमारेश्वरमध्यतः॥ ३४.
So too, I will remain in the secret field, in the midst of Kumareśvara.
श्रुत्वेति वचनं रुद्राद्देवानां श्रृण्वतां गुहः ३४.
Having heard these words from Rudra, Guha listened among the gods.
नमः शिवायास्तु निरामयाय नमः शिवायास्तु मनोमयाय ३४.
Salutations to Shiva, the flawless; salutations to Shiva, the mind-born.
नमो भवायास्तु भवोद्भवाय नमोस्तु ते ध्वस्तमनोभवाय ३४.
Salutations to Bhava, the source of existence; salutations to you, destroyer of the god of desire.
नमोस्तु शर्वाय नमः शिवाय नमोस्तु सिद्धाय पुरातनाय ३४.
Salutations to Sharva; salutations to Shiva; salutations to the ancient, accomplished one.
नमो निसर्गात्मकभूतिकाय नमोऽस्त्वमेयोक्षमहर्द्धिकाय ३४.
Salutations to the one whose nature is spontaneous prosperity; salutations to you, the immeasurable, great, and powerful bull.
नमोऽस्तु नानाभुवनाधिकर्त्रे नमोऽस्तु भक्ताभिमतप्रदात्रे ३४.
Salutations to the ruler of many worlds; salutations to the giver of devotees' desires.
अनंतरूपाय सदैव तुभ्यमसह्यकोपाय सदैव तुभ्यम् ३४.
To you, of infinite forms, always; to you, of irresistible wrath, always.
नमः प्रसिद्धाय महौषधाय नमोऽस्तु ते व्याधिगणापहाय ३४.
Salutations to the renowned, the great medicine; salutations to you, remover of all diseases.
ममेश भूतेश महेश्वरोसि कामेश वागीश बलेश धीश ३४.
You are my Lord, Lord of beings, the great Lord; Lord of desire, Lord of speech, Lord of strength, Lord of intellect.
इति संस्तूय वरदं शूलपाणिमुमापतिम् ३४.
Thus praised, the boon-giver, the wielder of the trident, the husband of Uma—
एवं भक्तिपराक्रांतमात्मयोग्यं स्तवं शिवः ३४.
Shiva, pleased by this hymn, filled with devotion and fitting to my own nature—
त्वया दुःखं न संचिंत्यं मम भक्तवधात्मकम् ३४.
By you, sorrow should not be considered, for the killing of my devotee is my own nature.
ये च सायं तथा प्रातस्त्वत्कृतेन स्तवेन माम् ३४.
Those who, in the evening and likewise in the morning, recite this hymn composed by you to me—
न व्याधिर्न च दारिद्र्यं न चैवेष्टवियोजनम् ३४.
Neither disease, nor poverty, nor separation from desired things—
तथान्यानपि दास्यामि वरान्परमदुर्लभान् ३४.
I shall also grant to others boons that are exceedingly difficult to obtain.
महीसा गरकूले तु ये मां स्तोष्यंति पूजया ३४.
Those who, at the confluence of the ocean and river, praise me with worship—
सरस्यत्र च ये स्नानं प्रकरिष्यंति मानवाः ३४.
And those people who bathe in that lake—
कुमारेशं तु मां भक्त्या महीसागरसंगमे ३४.
Who worship me as Kumāreśa with devotion at the meeting of ocean and river—
