When this was spoken by Guha, O Bhārata, as he withdrew,
With his radiance, he illuminated that place and the ten directions above and below.
I am the power called Guha, always established among beings on earth.
I dwell among all the gods, and I am present among Brahmins who delight in the meaning of the scriptures.

Thus, Guha, the limit of heaven has been reached by this assembly of merit.

When she departed from there, the demon's head trembled.
Meanwhile, the son of Girijā hurled his spear.
Roaring like the cloud of a cosmic age, desiring to burn the world,

Even today, O Partha, that cleft in Krauncha remains.
Through it, swans and kraunchas go to Lake Manasa, and likewise the mind of the virtuous returns after being drawn away or sent forth.
