चतुर्थ्यामरुणेशाय पूर्णकुम्भोत्करादिकम्
On the fourth day, one should offer to Aruṇeśa a full water-pot and other such items.
मुद्गौदनं च पंचम्यामुपहारं प्रकल्पयेत 1.3.2.7.
On the fifth day, one should prepare an offering of rice with mung beans.
षष्ठ्यां गुडौदनं दद्यादरुणाचलशम्भवे
On the sixth day, one should offer rice cooked with jaggery to Śiva of Aruṇācala.
तिलौदनं यस्सप्तम्यां शोणेशाय समर्पयेत्
On the seventh day, whoever presents sesame rice to the Lord of Śoṇa is blessed.
अष्टम्यां राजशाल्यन्नं यो दद्याच्छोणशम्भवे
On the eighth day, whoever gives royal rice to Śiva of Śoṇa is virtuous.
गोधूमान्नं नवम्यां च शोणाद्रीशाय योऽर्पयेत्
On the ninth day, whoever offers wheat rice to the Lord of Śoṇa mountain is meritorious.
दशम्यां शोणनाथाय यः करंभं निवेदयेत्
On the tenth day, whoever presents karaṃbha to the Lord of Śoṇa is praiseworthy.
पृथुकैरुपहारान्य एकादश्यां प्रकल्पयेत्
On the eleventh day, one should prepare offerings with flattened rice.
द्वादश्यां शोणनाथाय सूपौदननिवेदनम्
On the twelfth day, the offering of rice with soup should be made to the Lord of Śoṇa.
यः सक्तूनरुणेशाय त्रयोदश्यां समर्पयेत्
Whoever offers saktu flour to the Lord of Aruṇa on the thirteenth day is blessed.
अर्पयेच्छोणनाथाय फलानि विविधानि यः
Whoever presents various fruits to the Lord of Śoṇa is virtuous.
यः पौर्णमास्यां शोणाद्रिनाथाय विनिवेदयेत् 1.3.2.7.
Whoever makes an offering to the Lord of Śoṇa mountain on the full moon day is blessed.
कुह्वां च संगमे भक्त्या कंदमूलादि योऽर्पयेत्
At the confluence on the new moon, whoever devoutly offers tubers and roots is meritorious.
अश्विन्यामरुणेशाय दद्याद्वासांसि भक्तिमान्
On the day of Aśvinī, the devoted should offer garments to the Lord of Aruṇa.
कृत्तिकासु प्रदीपांश्च रोहिण्यां रौप्यमर्पयेत्
During Kṛttikā, one should offer lamps, and on Rohiṇī, silver.
पुनर्वसौ मृगमदं पुष्ये कर्पूरमर्पयेत्
On Punarvasu, musk should be offered; on Puṣya, camphor.
तांबूलं पूर्वफाल्गुन्यां धूपमुत्तरफाल्गुने
On Pūrvaphālguni, betel should be given; on Uttaraphālguni, incense.
स्वात्यां सुवासिनीवृंदं विशाखायां प्रकीर्णकम्
On Svāti, a group of fragrant women should be offered; on Viśākhā, scattered offerings.
मूले मुक्तासरान्पूर्वाषाढे मुकुटमर्पयेत्
On Mūla, pearls should be presented; on Pūrvāṣāḍhā, a crown.
अष्टापदं धनिष्ठायां वासः शतभिषज्यपि
On Dhaniṣṭhā, the game of eight squares should be offered; on Śatabhiṣak, garments as well.
रेवत्यां च रथं हैमं प्रदद्याच्छोणशंभवे
And in the constellation Revatī, one should offer a golden chariot to Śoṇaśaṃbhu.
पूज्यो राशिषु मेषादिष्वरुणेथो विशेषतः 1.3.2.7.
He is to be especially worshipped among the zodiac signs, beginning with Aries.
कुटजैर्नीपकुसुमैर्जीवंतीमल्लिकादिभिः
With kuṭaja flowers, nīpa blossoms, jīvantī, jasmine, and others,
पंचामृतेन स्नपयन्नुभयोरुपरागयोः
Bathing both forms with pañcāmṛta during the mutual conjunctions,
स्नपनं पञ्चगव्येन द्वयोरयनयोरपि
The bathing of both eyes should be done with pañcagavya as well.
प्रणवेनैव कुर्वीत क्षीरेण स्नपनक्रियाम्
One should perform the bathing rite with milk, reciting the Praṇava.
प्राह्णे स्याद्रुद्रतुलसी मध्याह्ने कृतमालकम्
In the morning, with rudra-tulasī; at midday, with kṛtamāla flowers.
अद्धोदये च स्नपयेत्सहस्रकलशोदकैः
At sunrise, one should bathe with water from a thousand pots.
शिवरात्रौ विशेषेण त्रिशिखैर्बिल्वपत्रकैः
Especially on Śivarātri, with triśikha bilva leaves.
गीतवादित्रनृत्यैश्च दिव्यागमविधानतः
With singing, instrumental music, and dance, according to the divine scriptural injunction.
