ददौ पशुपतिस्तस्मै सर्वभूतमहाचमूम् ३०.
Paśupati gave to him the great army of all beings.
उमा ददौ चारजसी वाससी सूर्यसप्रभा ३०.
Umā gave him two garments, pure as the rays of the sun.
मही महानदी तस्य चाक्षमालां ससागरा ३०.
The earth, the great river, and his rosary of eyes, together with the oceans.
गरुडो दयितं पुत्रं मयूरं चित्रबर्हिणम् ३०.
Garuḍa gave his beloved son, the peacock with variegated feathers.
छागं च वरुणो राजा बलवीर्यसमन्वितम् ३०.
And King Varuṇa gave a goat endowed with great strength and valor.
चतुरोऽनुचरांश्चैव महावीर्यान्बलोत्कटान् ३०.
And four attendants, mighty and powerful, were also given.
चतुर्थं चाप्यतिबलं ख्यातं कुसुममालिनम् ३०.
The fourth, exceedingly strong and famed as Kusumamālin, was also given.
स हि देवासुरे युद्धे दैत्यानां भीमकर्मणाम् ३०.
For in the battle of gods and demons, he fought the Daityas of terrible deeds.
यमः प्रादादनुचरौ यमकालोपमौ तदा ३०.
Yama then gave two attendants, resembling Yama and Kāla.
सुभ्राजौ भास्करस्यैव यौ सदा चानुयायिनौ ३०.
The two radiant ones, ever followers of the Sun, were also given.
कैलासश्रृङ्गसंकाशौ श्वेतमाल्यानुलेपनौ ३०.
Resembling the peaks of Kailāsa, adorned with white garlands and unguents.
ज्वालजिह्वं ज्योतिषं च ददावग्निर्महाबलौ ३०.
Agni gave Jvālajihva and Jyotiṣa, both of great might.
स्कंदाय त्रीननुचरान्ददौ विष्णुरुरुक्रमः ३०.
Viṣṇu, the wide-striding, gave three attendants to Skanda.
ददौ महेशपुत्राय वासवः परवीरहा ३०.
Vāsava, the slayer of enemy heroes, gave to the son of Maheśa.
वर्धनं बंधनं चैव आयुर्वेदविशारदौ ३०.
Vardhana and Bandhana, both skilled in the science of life, were given.
बलं चातिबलं चैव महावक्त्रौ महाबलौ ३०.
Bala and Atibala, both great in speech and strength, were also given.
घसं चातिघसं वीरौ वरुणश्च ददौ प्रभुः ३०.
Varuṇa, the lord, gave Ghasa and Atighasa, both heroic.
हिमवान्प्रददौ पार्थ साक्षाद्दौहित्रकाय वै ३०.
Himavān gave, directly to his grandson, O Pārtha.
उच्छ्रितं चातिशृंगं च महापाषाणयोधिनौ ३०.
Ucchrita and Atiśṛṅga, warriors with great rocks, were given.
संग्रहं विग्रहं चैव समुद्रोऽपि गधाधरौ ३०.
The ocean also gave Saṃgraha and Vigraha, both wielders of maces.
उन्मादं पुष्पदंतं च शंकुकर्णं तथैव च ३०.
Unmada, Pushpadanta, and likewise Shankukarṇa,
जयं महाजयं चैव नागौ ज्वलनसूनवे ३०.
Jaya and Mahajaya, and the two serpents to the son of Agni,
एवं साध्याश्च रुद्राश्च वसवः पितरस्तथा ३०.
In this way, the Sādhyas, the Rudras, the Vasus, and also the Pitrs,
नानावीर्यान्महावीर्यान्नानायुधविभूषणान् ३०.
Of various powers, of great might, adorned with diverse weapons,
मातश्च ददुस्तस्मै तदा मातृगणान्प्रभो ३०.
The Mothers also then gave him the hosts of Mothers, O Lord,
प्रभावती विशालाक्षी गोपाला गोनसा तथा ३०.
Prabhavati, Vishalakshi, Gopala, and also Gonasā,
भयंकरी च चक्रांगी तीर्थनेमिश्च माधवी ३०.
Bhayanakari, Chakrangi, Tirthanemi, and Madhavi,
विद्युज्जिह्वा रुद्रकाली शतोलूखलमेखला ३०.
Vidyujjihva, Rudrakali, Shatolukhalamekhala,
पूतना रोदना त्वामा कोटरा मेघवाहिनी ३०.
Putana, Rodana, Tvama, Kotara, and Meghavahini,
खटखेटी दहदहा तथा धमधमा जया ३०.
Khatakheti, Dahadaha, likewise Dhamadhama, and Jaya,
