दर्शनं शैलवर्यस्य प्रायश्चित्तं परं मतम्
The vision of that best of mountains is considered the highest expiation.
आवाह्य सर्वतीर्थानि सर्वदोषनिवृत्तये

अघमर्षणसंयुक्ता सलिंगा स्नानमाचर

प्रतिष्ठापय तीर्थाग्रे लोकानुग्रहकारणात्
Establish them at the forefront of the sacred sites for the benefit of the world.
तापत्रयोपशांतिश्च त्रैलोक्यस्य न संशयः
There is no doubt that the threefold suffering of the three worlds will be alleviated.
स्थापय स्थिरया भक्त्या सदालोकहिताय च
Install them with steadfast devotion, always for the welfare of all people.
महोत्सवसमायुक्तं यावद्दशदिनावधि 1.3.1.12.

अरुणाद्रिमयं लिंगं तुष्टाव जगदंबिका

तेजोमयाद्रिलिंगाय सर्वपाततकनाशिने
To the liṅga of the radiant mountain, destroyer of all great sins—
अग्निरूपोऽपि सञ्छांतो लोकानुग्रहक्लृप्तये
Though of the form of fire, he became tranquil, for the sake of blessing the worlds.
अद्रिश्रेष्ठारुणाद्रीश रूपलावण्यवारिधे
O Lord of Aruṇa, best of mountains, ocean of beauty and form—
तेजसां देव सर्वेषां बीजभूतं निगद्यसे
You are proclaimed, O god, as the seed of all radiance.
