अश्वत्थसेविनश्चान्ये खेचराश्च तथा परे २४.
Others who worship the aśvattha tree, and those who move in the sky, and still others,
कृतानि च मनोज्ञानि भवनानि महांतिवै २४.
Very beautiful mansions were made for them.
तत्रैव ते सर्वगणैः समेता निवासितास्तेन हिमाद्रिणा स्वयम् २४.
There, all of them, together with their groups, were settled by Himavat himself.
तत्रोपविविशुः सर्वे सत्कृताश्च हिमाद्रिणा २५.
There, all of them sat down, honored by Himavat.
तत्रैव च महामात्रं निर्मितं विश्वकर्मणा २५.
There, a great hall was constructed by Viśvakarman.
तथैव विष्णोस्त्वपरं भवनं स्वयमेव हि वण्डीगृहं मनोज्ञं च तथैव कृतवान्स्वयम्॥ २५.
In the same way, another residence of Viṣṇu was made by himself, and likewise, he himself built a delightful hall for bards.
तथैव श्वेतं परमं मनोज्ञं महाप्रभं देववरैः सुपूजितम् २५.
In the same way, a supreme, white, most beautiful and radiant hall, highly honored by the best of the gods, was made.
तत्रैव शंभुः परया विभूत्या स स्थापितस्तेन हिमाद्रिणा वै॥ २५.
There, Śambhu was established by Himālaya with his supreme glory.
एतस्मिन्नंतरे मेना समायाता सखीगणैः २५.
At that moment, Menā arrived there with her group of friends.
तदा वादित्रदिर्घोपैर्नादितं भुवनत्रयम् २५.
Then, the three worlds resounded with the prolonged sound of musical instruments.
अवलोक्य परा साध्वी मेनाऽजानाद्धरं तदा २५.
Seeing that, the noble Menā recognized Hara at that time.
यद्वै पुरोक्तं च तया पार्वत्या मम सन्निधौ महेशस्य मया दृष्टमनिर्वाच्यं च संप्रति॥ २५.
What was previously spoken by Pārvatī in my presence about Maheśa, I now behold as indescribable.
एवं विस्मयमापन्ना विप्रपत्नीभिरावृता २५.
Thus, filled with wonder and surrounded by the wives of the Brahmins,
कंचुकी परमा दिव्या नानारत्नैश्च शोभिता २५.
She wore a most divine robe, adorned with various jewels.
बिभ्रती च तदा हारं दिव्यरत्नविभूषितम् २५.
And at that time she wore a necklace decorated with celestial gems.
तत्रोपविष्टा सुभगा ध्यायंती परमेश्वरम् २५.
There, the fortunate lady sat, meditating on the Supreme Lord.
एतस्मिन्नंतरे तत्र गर्गो वाक्यमभाषत त्वरितेनैव वेलायामस्यामेव विचक्षणाः॥ २५.
At that moment, Garga spoke these words there: 'Let the wise act quickly, for the time is at hand.'
तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तस्य गर्गस्य च महात्मनः २५.
Hearing the words of that great-souled Garga,
महाविभूत्या संयुक्ताः सर्वे मंगलपाणयः २५.
All, endowed with great glory and auspicious hands,
उपायनान्यनेकानि जगृहुः स्निग्धलोचनाः २५.
Those with gentle eyes took up many gifts.
आजग्मुः सकलात्रास्ते यत्र देवो महेश्वरः २५.
All of them came together to the place where the god Maheśvara was.
तथा महर्षिभिस्तत्र तथा देवगणैः सह २५.
Likewise, the great sages and the hosts of gods gathered there.
श्रुत्वा वादित्रनिर्घोषं सर्वे शंकरसेवकाः २५.
Hearing the sound of musical instruments, all the attendants of Shankara gathered.
तथोद्यतो योगिनाचक्रयुक्ता गणा गणानां गणानां पतिरेकवर्चसाम् २५.
Then, accompanied by the circle of Yoginīs, the hosts of Gaṇas, led by their lord of unrivaled splendor, prepared themselves.
तद्योगिनी चक्रमतिप्रचंडं टंकारभेरीरवनिस्वनेन २५.
That Yoginī circle, exceedingly fierce, resounded with the noise of drums and the clamor of kettledrums.
कंठे कर्कोटकं नागं हारभूतं च कार सा २५.
She wore a serpent, Karkoṭaka, as a necklace, serving as her ornament.
कर्णावतंसान्सा दध्रे पाणिपादमयांस्तथा २५.
She adorned her ears with earrings made of hands and feet.
द्वीपिचर्मपरीधाना योगिनीचक्रसंयुता २५.
Clad in a tiger skin and accompanied by the Yoginī circle, she stood there.
तथा प्रेतैश्च भूतैश्च कपटैः परिवारिता ये दक्षयज्ञनाशार्थे शिवेनाज्ञापितास्तदा॥ २५.
She was surrounded by ghosts, spirits, and pretas in disguise, those whom Shiva had commanded for the destruction of Daksha's sacrifice.
तथा काली भैरवी च माया चैव भयावहा २५.
Likewise, Kālī, Bhairavī, and Māyā, all terrifying, were present.
