सर्वाण्यपि च तीर्थानि युगपत्तुलितान्यपि
Even if all the tīrthas are visited at once,
स्नात्वा पांचनदे तीर्थे दृष्ट्वा वै बिंदुमाधवम्
By bathing at the Pañcanada tīrtha and beholding Bindumādhava,
ततो ज्ञानहदं तीर्थं जडानामपि जाड्यहृत्
Then is the tīrtha called Jñānahrada, which removes dullness even from the dull-witted.
तत्र ज्ञानह्रदे स्नात्वा दृष्ट्वा ज्ञानेश्वरं नरः
There, by bathing in the lake of knowledge and beholding Jñāneśvara, a man—
ततोस्ति मंगलं तीर्थं सर्वामंगलनाशनम्
After that is the Maṅgala tīrtha, which destroys all inauspiciousness.
अमंगलानि नश्येयुर्भवेयुर्मंगलानि च ।। 4.2.84.
Inauspicious things are destroyed, and auspicious things arise.
मयूखमालिनस्तीर्थं तदग्रे मलनाशनम्
Ahead lies the Mayūkhamālin tīrtha, a holy place that destroys impurities.
मखतीर्थं तु तत्रैव मखैश्वर समीपतः
There itself is the Makhatīrtha, situated near the lord of sacrifices.
तत्पार्श्वे बिंदुतीर्थं च परमज्ञानकारणम्
Beside it is the Bindutīrtha, the cause of supreme knowledge.
पिप्पलादस्य च मुनेस्तीर्थं तद्याम्यदिक्स्थितम्
There is also the tīrtha of the sage Pippalāda, located in the southern direction.
पिप्पलं तत्र सेवित्वा अश्वत्थ इति मंत्रतः
Having worshipped the pippala tree there, one should recite the mantra for the aśvattha.
ततस्ताम्रवराहाख्यं तीर्थं चैवातिपावनम्
Then comes the tīrtha called Tāmravarāha, exceedingly purifying.
तदग्रे कालगंगा च कलिकल्मषनाशिनी
Ahead is the Kālagaṅgā, which destroys the sins of the Kali age.
इंद्रद्युम्नं महातीर्थमिंद्रद्युम्नेश्वराग्रतः
There is the great tīrtha of Indradyumna, in front of Indradyumneśvara.
ततस्तु रामतीर्थं च वीररामेश्वराग्रतः
Then comes the Rāmatīrtha, before Vīrarāmeśvara.
तत ऐक्ष्वाकवं तीर्थं सर्वाघौघविनाशनम् 4.2.84.
After that is the Ikṣvāku tīrtha, which destroys all floods of sin.
मरुत्ततीर्थं तत्प्रांते मरुत्तेश्वरसन्निधो
At its end is the Marutta tīrtha, near Marutteśvara.
मैत्रावरुणतीर्थं च ततः पातकनाशनम्
Then comes the Maitrāvaruṇa tīrtha, which destroys sins.
ततोग्नितीर्थविमलमग्नीश पुरतो महत्
There is the pure Agnitīrtha, great and situated before Agniśa.
अंगारतीर्थं तत्रैव अंगारेश्वरसन्निधौ
There itself is the Aṅgāratīrtha, in the presence of Aṅgāreśvara.
ततो वै कलितीर्थं च कलशेश्वरसन्निधौ
Then comes the Kalitīrtha, near Kalaśeśvara.
चंद्रतीर्थं च तत्रैव चंद्रेश्वरसमीपतः
There also is the Candratīrtha, close to Candeśvara.
तदग्रे वीरतीर्थं च वीरेश्वर समीपतः
Ahead is the Vīratīrtha, near Vīreśvara.
विघ्नेशतीर्थं च ततः सर्वविघ्नविघातकृत्
Then comes the Vighneśa tīrtha, which removes all obstacles.
हरिश्चंद्रस्य राजर्षस्ततस्तीर्थमनुत्तमम्
Then comes the supreme pilgrimage site of the royal sage Hariśchandra.
हरिश्चंद्रस्य तीर्थे तु यच्छ्रेयः समुपार्जितम् 4.2.84.
At the pilgrimage site of Hariśchandra, whatever merit is attained—
ततः पर्वततीर्थं च पर्वतेश समीपतः
After that is the Parvata Tirtha, near the lord of the mountains.
कंबलाश्वतरं तीर्थं तत्र सर्वविषापहम्
There is the Kambalāśvatara Tirtha, which removes all poisons.
ततः सारस्वतं तीर्थं सर्वविद्योपपादकम्
Then comes the Sarasvata Tirtha, which bestows all knowledge.
उमातीर्थं तु तत्रैव सर्वशक्तिसमन्वितम्
There too is the Uma Tirtha, endowed with all powers.
