कृतपादोदक स्नानः कृतकेशवपूजनः
Having bathed in the water that washed the feet, and having worshipped Keshava—
काश्यां सा भूमिरुद्दिष्टा श्वेतद्वीप इति द्विजैः
That land is declared by the twice-born to be Shvetadvipa in Kashi.
ततः पादोदकात्तीर्थात्तीर्थं क्षीराब्धिसंज्ञकम्
Then, from the sacred water at the feet, there is a holy place called Kṣīrābhi.
क्षीरोदाद्दक्षिणेभागे तीर्थं शंखाख्यनुत्तमम्
To the south of the Kṣīrodā, there is the excellent holy place known as Śaṅkha.
अर्वाक्च शंखतीर्थाद्वै चक्रतीर्थमनुत्तमम्
And further on from Śaṅkha Tīrtha, there is the most excellent holy place called Cakra.
गदातीर्थं तदग्रे तु संसारगदनाशनम् 4.2.84.
In front of that is Gadā Tīrtha, which destroys the disease of worldly existence.
पद्माकृत्पद्मतीर्थं च तदग्रे पितृतृप्तिकृत्
Next is Padma Tīrtha, shaped like a lotus, which brings satisfaction to the ancestors.
ततस्तीर्थं महालक्ष्म्या महापुण्यफलप्रदम्
After that is the holy place of Mahālakṣmī, which bestows the great fruit of merit.
ततो गारुत्मतं तीर्थं संसारगरनाशनम्
Then comes the Gārutmata Tīrtha, which destroys the poison of worldly existence.
ततो नारदतीर्थं च ब्रह्मविद्यैककारणम्
After that is the Nārada Tīrtha, the sole cause of knowledge of Brahman.
प्रह्लादतीर्थं तद्याम्ये महाभक्तिफलप्रदम्
There is the Prahlāda Tīrtha to the south, which grants the great fruit of devotion.
अंबरीषं ततस्तीर्थं महापातकनाशनम्
Then comes the holy place of Ambarīṣa, which destroys great sins.
आदित्यकेशवं नाम तदग्रे तीर्थमुत्तमम्
Next is the most excellent holy place called Āditya Keśava.
दत्तात्रेयस्य तत्रास्ति तीर्थं त्रैलोक्यपावनम्
There is the tīrtha of Dattātreya, which purifies the three worlds.
तदग्रे भार्गवं तीर्थं महाज्ञानसमर्पकम्
In front of that is the Bhārgava Tīrtha, which bestows great knowledge.
ततो वामनतीर्थं च विष्णुसान्निध्यहेतुकम् 4.2.84.
Then comes the Vāmana Tīrtha, which brings the presence of Viṣṇu.
नरनारायणाख्यं हि ततस्तीर्थं शुभप्रदम्
After that is the holy place called Nara-Nārāyaṇa, which bestows auspiciousness.
यज्ञवाराहतीर्थं च ततो दक्षिणतः शुभम्
Then, to the south, is the auspicious Yajñavārāha Tīrtha.
विदारनारसिंहाख्यं तीर्थं तत्रास्ति पावनम्
There is the holy place called Vidāra-Nārasiṃha, which is purifying.
गोपीगोविंदतीर्थं च ततो वैष्णवलोकदम्
Then comes the Gopī-Goviṃda Tīrtha, which grants the vision of Viṣṇu.
लक्ष्मीनृसिंहतीर्थं च गोपीगोविंद दक्षिणे
To the south lies the Lakshmi-Narasimha sacred site, along with Gopī-Govinda.
तद्दक्षिणायां काष्ठायां शेषतीर्थमनुत्तमम्
On the southern side, in the wooded area, is the peerless Śeṣa sacred site.
शंखमाधवतीर्थं च तद्याम्यां दिशि चोत्तमम्
There is also the Śaṃkha-Mādhava sacred site, most excellent in the southern direction.
ततोपि पावनतरं तीर्थं तत्क्षणसिद्धिदम्
Beyond that is a sacred site even more purifying, granting instant accomplishment.
तत्रोद्दालकतीर्थं च सर्वाघौघ विनाशनम्
There is the Uddālaka sacred site, which destroys all heaps of sins.
ततः सांख्याख्य तीर्थं च सांख्येश्वर समीपतः 4.2.84.
Then comes the sacred site called Sāṃkhya, near the lord of Sāṃkhya.
स्वर्लोकाद्यत्र संलीनः स्वयं देव उमापतिः
Here, the god Umāpati himself merged, departing from the heavenly realms.
तत्र स्नानेन दानेन श्रद्धया द्विजभोजनैः
There, by bathing, giving, faith, and feeding the twice-born, one attains merit.
महिषासुरतीर्थं च तत्समीपेति पावनम्
Near that is the sacred site of Mahiṣāsura, which is purifying.
तत्तीर्थसेवकोद्यापि नारिभिः परिभूयते
Even today, women are not disregarded who serve that sacred site.
