इमां स्तुतिं ममकृतिं यः पठिष्यति सन्मतिः
Whoever recites this praise composed by me, with good intention,
ढौंढीं स्तुतिमिमां पुण्यां यः पठेड्ढुंढि संनिधौ
Whoever recites this auspicious Dhundhi hymn in the presence of Dhundhi,
इमां स्तुतिं नरो जप्त्वा परं नियतमानसः
A man who recites this hymn with a controlled mind,
पुत्रान्कलत्रं क्षेत्राणि वराश्वान्वरमंदिरम्
He obtains sons, wife, fields, excellent horses, and a splendid house.
सर्वसंपत्करं नाम स्तोत्रमेतन्मयेरितम्
This hymn, composed by me, is called the bestower of all prosperity.
जप्त्वा स्तोत्रमिदं पुण्यं क्वापि कार्ये गमिष्यतः
Reciting this auspicious hymn before undertaking any task,
अन्यच्च कथयाम्यत्र शृण्वंत्वेते दिवौकसः
Moreover, I shall tell something else here; let these celestial beings listen.
काश्यां गंगासि संभेदे नामतोर्कविनायकः
At the confluence of the Ganga in Kashi, there is the Vinayaka named Torkavinayaka.
दुर्गो नाम गणाध्यक्षः सर्वदुर्गतिनाशनः 4.2.57.
There is Durga, the chief of the Ganas, destroyer of all misfortunes.
भीमचंडी समीपे तु भीमचंडविनायकः
Near Bhimacandi is Bhimacandavinayaka.
क्षेत्रस्य पश्चिमे भागे स देहलिविनायकः
In the western part of the area is Dehalivinayaka.
क्षेत्रवायव्यदिग्भागे उद्दंडाख्यो गजाननः
In the north-western direction of the area is the elephant-faced one called Uddanda.
काश्याः सदोत्तराशायां पाशपाणिर्विनायकः
In the northern direction of Kashi is Pashapani Vinayaka.
गंगावरणयोः संगे रम्यः खर्वविनायकः
At the confluence of the Ganga's enclosures is the delightful Kharvavinayaka.
प्राच्यां तु क्षेत्ररक्षार्थं सिद्धः सिद्धिविनायकः
In the east, for the protection of the area, is Siddhivinayaka, the accomplished one.
बाह्यावरणगाश्चैते काश्यामष्टौ विनायकाः
These eight Vinayakas are in the outer enclosure of Kashi.
द्वितीयावरणे चैव ये रक्षंति विनायकाः
And in the second enclosure also, the Vinayakas who protect—
स्वर्धुन्याः पश्चिमे कूले उत्तरेर्कविनायकात्
On the western bank of the celestial river, to the north of Torkavinayaka,
तत्पश्चिमेकूटदंत उदग्दुर्गविनायकात् ।। 4.2.57.
Further west is Kutadanta, beyond Udagdurgavinayaka.
भीमचंड गणाध्यक्षात्किंचिदीशानदिग्गतः
Slightly in the northeast direction from Bhimacanda, the chief of the Ganas,
प्राच्या देहलिविघ्नेशात्कूश्मांडाख्यो विनायकः
In the east, from Dehalivighnesha, is the Vinayaka called Kushmandakhya.
उद्दंडाख्याद्गणपतेराशुशुक्षणिदिक्स्थितः
From Uddanda, the lord of the Ganas, is Ashushukshanidikstha.
पाताले तस्य देहोस्ति मुंडं काश्यां व्यवस्थितम
In the netherworld is his body, while his head is established in Kāśī.
पाशपाणेर्गणेशानाद्दक्षिणे विकटद्विजम्
To the right of Gaṇeśa, who holds a noose, is the fearsome twice-born one.
खर्वाख्यान्नैर्ऋतेभागे राजपुत्रो विनायकः
In the region of the south-west, called Nairṛti, is the prince Vināyaka named Kharva.
गंगायाः पश्चिमे कूले प्रणवाख्यो गणाधिपः
On the western bank of the Gaṅgā is the lord of the gaṇas known as Praṇava.
द्वितीयावरणे काश्यामष्टावेते विनायकाः
In the second enclosure at Kāśī, these eight Vināyakas reside.
क्षेत्रे तृतीयावरणे क्षेत्ररक्षाकृतः सदा
In the third enclosure of the field, they always act as protectors of the sacred ground.
उदग्वहायाः स्वर्धुन्या रम्ये रोधसि विघ्नराट् 4.2.57.
On the beautiful bank of the northern-flowing heavenly river is Vighnarāja.
कूटदंताद्गणपतेरुदीच्यामेकदंतकः
To the north is Ekadaṃtaka, from the lord of the gaṇas called Kūṭadaṃta.
