Thus I arrived at the auspicious city of Vārāṇasī,
That which is difficult to attain, even for my father, in all the three worlds,
By this elephant-faced one, through his own wisdom and power, here,
I have indeed become a father, and that which I have long contemplated,
Having spoken thus, the destroyer of Tripura, praised by Indra and the others,
Remover of obstacles, pacifier of hindrances, creator of the great and single obstacle,
Victory to you, lord of all the hosts, victory to you, foremost among all the hosts!
Victory to you, lord of all, ruler of all, sole treasure of all wisdom!
Victory to you, the most auspicious among all that is auspicious; victory to you, the source of all blessings.
Victory to you, who are revered by the creators; victory to you, before whom the sustainers bow.
Victory to you, whose lotus feet are worshipped by the perfected ones; victory to you, the bestower of success.
You are the creator of all virtues, transcending qualities, and foremost among the virtuous.
Victory to you, lord of all powers, giver of strength, and destroyer of the enemies of strength.
You are the support of infinite greatness, the one who splits even the mountains.
Those who bow to you, O compassionate one with a divine form, are freed from all sins and attain liberation on earth.
Those whom you, O remover of obstacles, regard with a glance of compassion, are freed from obstacles on this earth in but a moment.
Those who praise you, skilled in removing bowed obstacles, shine like the radiant rays from the lotus heart of Dakshayani.
Those who always honor your pair of feet are blessed with sons, grandsons, wealth, and abundant grain.
You are the cause of all causes, the supreme cause; you alone are always known by those who know the Vedas.
The Vedas do not know you as you truly are, nor do Brahma and the others, O sustainer of all that moves and does not move.
With the arrows of your fierce gaze, I destroyed demons such as Andhaka and Jalandhara in the past.
In searching, this Dhundhi is renowned as the essence of all; because you are sought for all purposes, you are called Dhundhi.
He who, having bowed to your lotus feet before you, worships me here in Kashi as a man—
A man who first bathes at Manikarnika, and then, with his pair of feet cleansed and clothed, quickly—
With heaps of fragrant modakas, excellent incense and lamps, garlands, and abundant fragrant ointments—
Even if he does not visit other sacred places in order, he accomplishes everything here by your compassionate glance.
He who bows daily to you, Dhundhi Vinayaka, in Kashi at dawn, finds all obstacles and hindrances removed.
Whoever recites your name, O Dhundhi Vinayaka, those eight siddhis themselves recite that name in his heart each day.
Even one who is far away, who remembers your footstool every day, O Dhundhi Raja, you grant all accomplishments.
I know you destroy countless obstacles in many ways.
