From that moment, my beloved became obedient to me in the house.
I was burned in a copper vessel for fifteen ages, cut by the thread of time, tormented by a nose-pressing device.
Boiled in a pot with scalding oil, stirred with a ladle,
Crushed by teeth-grinding, I was terribly burned in Raurava hell.
Any young woman, dear one, who seeks to control her husband,
The husband is master, the husband is teacher, the husband is indeed the supreme deity.
When the husband is pleased, all the gods are pleased with women; she is reduced to ashes who does not please her husband.
By whose favor various enjoyments are always obtained,
She enters a hundred animal wombs, and hundreds of births as worms and birds.
Thus again I endured hells of extreme torment.
For the partial cleansing of my sin, I was born in the house of a caṇḍāla.
Surrounded by dogs, wretched, repeatedly devoured by them, though tormented by them I went to the great forest of death.
I beheld the great god, the divine one, while pursuing the deer.
Merely by seeing him, I went toward the city of Indra, adorned in celestial garments, radiant, and decorated with divine garlands.
There, I was honored by the gods and praised by the celestial beings.
Beloved and endowed with beauty, I resided in the auspicious city of Shakala.
Remembering the greatness of the linga, joy arose in me at that very moment.
I became one who remembers past births, O father, established in the vow of celibacy, so that I might not be born again in the ocean of worldly existence.
Hearing these words of his daughter, Citrashena, the king,
Saw that linga there and worshipped it with devotion.
The king, desiring a son, obtained one by seeing the linga, O beloved.
Meanwhile, O goddess, seeing the goddess who had merged into the god,
Merely by seeing the linga of Avimukta, at that very moment,
That god who is renowned in Kashi, Lord Shiva, the ruler of all,
Just as Varanasi is holy, so also Avanti grants liberation.
Therefore, Lord Vishveshvara came to Kushasthali.
They behold Avimukteshvara Shiva with supreme devotion.
The unliberated do not see him; the liberated always see him.

The proper fruit is attained by the sight of Avimukteshvara.
The state attained by Sankhya or Yoga, or whatever state may be achieved,
