Meanwhile, O Goddess, I arrived together with you.
Then all the hosts of gods, along with kinnaras and great serpents,
Spirits, pretas, piśācas, and others who move through the sky,
The Gaṅgā, Yamunā, Sindhu, Candrabhāgā, and Sarasvatī,
Vipāśā, Devikā the holy, Śarayū, and Kauśikī as well,
Pārā, Veda, Smṛti, Vetraghnī, Narmadā, and Śivā,
Puṣkara and Prayāga, Prabhāsa and Naimiṣa likewise, the broad-tanked Pṛthutīrtha, and also Amarakaṇṭaka,
Gaṅgādvāra, Kuśāvarta, Bilvaka, and Nīlaparvata,
Bhṛgutuṅga, Sukukṣa, and Ajagaṃdha as well, O Pārvatī,
And all the sacred places and holy shrines,
The sages and Vālakhilyas, and the four Vedas as well,
Immediately, I made Meru in the form of land; then the four oceans, salty and others, were placed at its sides.
Then that king Ripuṃjaya became overwhelmed with distress.
Even as he was being burned by my radiance, O beautiful-faced one,
On this earth, O king, I too spoke to him in a friendly manner.
By him I was seen everywhere, in speech, in all that moves and does not move.
Seeing my incomparable, supreme, all-pervading power, he praised me again, and I was pleased with that king.
May my devotion to you, O Lord of all, be firm and eternal; I was pleased by those words, and again I spoke to the king.
Having said, 'So it shall be,' speak to me again, O King; the desire that abides in your heart will remain there at all times.
You will always be invulnerable to all the gods.
This place shines greatly, O god, in your presence.
You are the lord of Rājasthala, renowned throughout the three worlds.
O god, whoever comes here endowed with supreme devotion, to him you must grant all that he desires in his mind— all the powers beginning with aṇimā, success with magical pills, and enchantment.
Also, a sword, sandals, water-dwelling, and elixirs.
Especially on the tenth day, after performing the proper observances.
He should be worshipped by the dwellers of heaven just as the god Purandara.
He will surely obtain prosperity and victory—this is my boon.
May there be growth in your lineage from seeing you, O Śaṅkara; may all the oceans remain near you, O god.
Thus addressed by him at that time, I also spoke, O beautiful-faced one.
For the sake of a son, together with his wife, I will grant the desired boon.
