शिवयोर्दयिता पुत्रौ देवौ हेरंबषण्मुखौ शिवानुभावौ सर्वज्ञौ शिवज्ञानामृताशिनौ

The beloved sons of Shiva, the gods Heramba and Ṣaṇmukha, endowed with Shiva's power, all-knowing, and nourished by the nectar of Shiva's knowledge.

तृप्तौ परस्परं स्निग्धौ शिवाभ्यां नित्यसत्कृतौ सत्कृतौ च सदा देवौ ब्रह्माद्यैस्त्रिदशैरपि

Content, affectionate toward each other, always honored by Shiva, and ever respected by the gods, including Brahma and the other immortals.

सर्वलोकपरित्राणं कर्तुमभ्युदितौ सदा स्वेच्छावतारं कुर्वंतौ स्वांशभेदैरनेकशः

Always arising to protect all worlds, taking incarnations at will, manifesting in many forms through their own portions.

ताविमौ शिवयोः पार्श्वे नित्यमित्थं मयार्चितौ तयोराज्ञां पुरस्कृत्य प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छताम्

These two, ever worshipped by me at the side of Shiva, may they, having considered their command, grant what I have requested.

शुद्धस्फटिकसंकाशमीशानाख्यं सदाशिवम् मूर्धाभिमानिनी मूर्तिः शिवस्य परमात्मनः

The form called Īśāna, ever like pure crystal, is the supreme manifestation of Shiva, the Supreme Self, presiding over the head.

शिवार्चनरतं शांतं शांत्यतीतं मखास्थितम् पञ्चाक्षरांतिमं बीजं कलाभिः पञ्चभिर्युतम्

Engaged in the worship of Shiva, tranquil, transcending tranquility, established in sacrificial rites, the ultimate seed of the five-syllabled mantra, endowed with five aspects.

प्रथमावरणे पूर्वं शक्त्या सह समर्चितम् पवित्रं परमं ब्रह्म प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छतु

In the first enclosure, formerly worshipped together with Shakti, may the pure, supreme Brahman, which I have sought, grant my desire.

बालसूर्यप्रतीकाशं पुरुषाख्यं पुरातनम् पूर्ववक्त्राभिमानं च शिवस्य परमेष्ठिनः

Resembling a young sun, ancient, known as Purusha, possessing the pride of the eastern face of the supreme Shiva.

शांत्यात्मकं मरुत्संस्थं शम्भोः पादार्चने रतम् प्रथमं शिवबीजेषु कलासु च चतुष्कलम्

Of tranquil nature, abiding among the Maruts, devoted to the worship of Shambhu's feet, the first among Shiva's seeds, possessing four aspects.

पूर्वभागे मया भक्त्या शक्त्या सह समर्चितम् पवित्रं परमं ब्रह्म प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छतु

In the eastern part, worshipped by me with devotion, together with Shakti, may the pure, supreme Brahman, which I have sought, grant my desire.

अञ्जनादिप्रतीकाशमघोरं घोरविग्रहम् देवस्य दक्षिणं वक्त्रं देवदेवपदार्चकम्

Resembling collyrium and other dark hues, fierce, with a terrifying form, the southern face of the deity, worshipped at the feet of the god of gods.

विद्यापादं समारूढं वह्निमण्डलमध्यगम् द्वितीयं शिवबीजेषु कलास्वष्टकलान्वितम्

Established in the path of knowledge, situated in the midst of the fire circle, the second among Shiva's seeds, endowed with eight aspects.

शंभोर्दक्षिणदिग्भागे शक्त्या सह समर्चितम् पवित्रं मध्यमं ब्रह्म प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छतु

In the southern region of Shambhu, worshipped together with Shakti, may the pure, middle Brahman, which I have sought, grant my desire.

कुंकुमक्षोदसंकाशं वामाख्यं वरवेषधृक् वक्त्रमुत्तरमीशस्य प्रतिष्ठायां प्रतिष्ठितम्

Resembling saffron powder, known as Vama, bearing a splendid form, the northern face of the Lord, established in the foundation.

वारिमंडलमध्यस्थं महादेवार्चने रतम् तुरीयं शिवबीजेषु त्रयोदशकलान्वितम्

Situated in the midst of the water circle, devoted to the worship of Mahadeva, the fourth among Shiva's seeds, endowed with thirteen aspects.

देवस्योत्तरदिग्भागे शक्त्या सह समर्चितम् पवित्रं परमं ब्रह्म प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छतु

In the northern region of the deity, worshipped together with Shakti, may the pure, supreme Brahman, which I have sought, grant my desire.

शंखकुंदेंदुधवलं संध्याख्यं सौम्यलक्षणम् शिवस्य पश्चिमं वक्त्रं शिवपादार्चने रतम्

White as conch, jasmine, and moon, known as Sandhya, possessing gentle qualities, the western face of Shiva, devoted to the worship of Shiva's feet.

निवृत्तिपदनिष्ठं च पृथिव्यां समवस्थितम् तृतीयं शिवबीजेषु कलाभिश्चाष्टभिर्युतम्

Established in the state of cessation, abiding upon the earth, the third among Shiva's seeds, endowed with eight aspects.

देवस्य पश्चिमे भागे शक्त्या सह समर्चितम् पवित्रं परमं ब्रह्म प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छतु

In the western region of the deity, worshipped together with Shakti, may the pure, supreme Brahman, which I have sought, grant my desire.

शिवस्य तु शिवायाश्च हृन्मूर्तिशिवभाविते तयोराज्ञां पुरस्कृत्य ते मे कामं प्रयच्छताम्

Of Shiva and of Shakti, whose heart-forms are imbued with Shiva's essence, having received their command, may they grant my desire.

शिवस्य च शिवायाश्च शिखामूर्तिशिवाश्रिते सत्कृत्य शिवयोराज्ञां ते मे कामं प्रयच्छताम्

Of Shiva and of Shakti, whose crest-forms are established in Shiva, having honored the command of both, may they grant my desire.

शिवस्य च शिवायाश्च वर्मणा शिवभाविते सत्कृत्य शिवयोराज्ञां ते मे कामं प्रयच्छताम्

Of Shiva and of Shakti, whose armor is imbued with Shiva's essence, having honored the command of both, may they grant my desire.

शिवस्य च शिवायाश्च नेत्रमूर्तिशिवाश्रिते सत्कृत्य शिवयोराज्ञां ते मे कामं प्रयच्छताम्

Of Shiva and of Shakti, whose eye-forms are established in Shiva, having honored the command of both, may they grant my desire.

अस्त्रमूर्ती च शिवयोर्नित्यमर्चनतत्परे सत्कृत्य शिवयोराज्ञां ते मे कामं प्रयच्छताम्

He who is the embodiment of weapons, ever devoted to the worship of Shiva, having duly honored the command of Shiva, may he grant me my desire.

वामौ ज्येष्ठस्तथा रुद्रः कालो विकरणस्तथा बलो विकरणश्चैव बलप्रमथनः परः

Vama, Jyeshtha, Rudra, Kala, Vikaraṇa, Bala, Vikaraṇa again, and Balapramathana the supreme—

सर्वभूतस्य दमनस्तादृशाश्चाष्टशक्तयः प्रार्थितं मे प्रयच्छंतु शिवयोरेव शासनात्

The subduers of all beings, these eight powers of such kind, may they grant me what I seek, by the command of Shiva alone.

अथानंतश्च सूक्ष्मश्च शिवश्चाप्येकनेत्रकः एक रुद्राख्यमर्तिश्च श्रीकण्ठश्च शिखंडकः

Then Ananta, Sukshma, Shiva with a single eye, Eka, Rudra, Amarti, Shrikantha, and Shikhandaka—

तथाष्टौ शक्तयस्तेषां द्वितीयावरणे ऽर्चिताः ते मे कामं प्रयच्छंतु शिवयोरेव शासनात्

Likewise, these eight powers, worshipped in the second enclosure, may they grant me my desire, by the command of Shiva alone.

भवाद्या मूर्तयश्चाष्टौ तासामपि च शक्तयः महादेवादयश्चान्ये तथैकादशमूर्तयः

The eight forms beginning with Bhava, and their powers as well, and others such as Mahadeva, and the eleven forms—
