महाप्रलयविश्वैकद्वितीयाखिलनागराट् । शेषदेवः सहस्राक्षः सहस्रास्य शिरोभुजः
At the great dissolution, he alone remains, king of all serpents; Shesha, the god with a thousand eyes, a thousand faces, heads, and arms.
फणामणिकणाकारयोजिताब्ध्यंबुदक्षितिः । कालाग्निरुद्रजनको मुशलास्त्रो हलायुधः

यथार्थखंडिताशेष दिव्यास्त्रपार्थमोहहृत् । गर्भशापछलध्वस्तयादेवोर्वी भयापहः
He who, in truth, shattered all the delusions of Arjuna caused by divine weapons; who removed the fear of the earth goddess, whose distress was feigned by a curse upon her womb.
जराव्याधारिगतिदः स्मृतिमात्राखिलेष्टदः । कामदेवो रतिपतिर्मन्मथः शंबरांतकः
He who grants movement to those afflicted by old age and disease, who fulfills all desires by mere remembrance; who is Kamadeva, the lord of love, Manmatha, and destroyer of Shambara.
अनंगो जितगौरीशो रतिकांतः सदेप्सितः । पुष्पेषुर्विश्वविजयि स्मरः कामेश्वरीप्रियः

उषापतिर्विश्वकेतुर्विश्वदृप्तोऽधिपूरुषः । चतुरात्मा चतुर्व्यूहश्चतुर्युगविधायकः
He who is the lord of Ushā, the universal banner, proud of the universe, the supreme person; possessing fourfold nature, four emanations, and the arranger of the four ages.
चतुर्वेदैकविश्वात्मा सर्वोत्कृष्टांशकोटिशः । आश्रमात्मा पुराणर्षिर्व्यासः शाखासहस्रकृत्
He who is the one soul of the four Vedas, possessing countless supreme portions; the soul of all stages of life, the ancient sage, Vyasa, creator of a thousand branches.
