ब्रह्मादिदुःसहज्योतिर्युगांताग्र्यतिभीषणः । कोटिवज्राधिकनखो जगद्दुष्प्रेक्ष्यमूर्तिधृक्
He is the unbearable radiance for Brahmā and others, supremely terrifying at the end of the age; his claws surpass millions of thunderbolts, he bears a form that the world cannot gaze upon.
मातृचक्रप्रमथनो महामातृगणेश्वरः । अचिंत्यामोघवीर्याढ्यः समस्तासुरघस्मरः
He crushes the circle of mothers, is the lord of the great hosts of mothers; possessed of inconceivable, unfailing power, the death of all demons.
हिरण्यकशिपुछेदी कालः संकर्षणीपतिः । कृतांतवाहनासह्यः समस्तभयनाशनः
He is the slayer of Hiraṇyakaśipu, Time itself, the lord of Saṃkarṣaṇī; irresistible to Death's own vehicle, destroyer of all fear.
सर्वविघ्नांतकः सर्वसिद्धिदः सर्वपूरकः । समस्तपातकध्वंसी सिद्धमंत्राधिकाह्वयः

वीरचक्रेश्वरोऽत्युग्रोऽपमारिः कालशंबरः । क्रोधेश्वरो रुद्रचंडी परिवारादिदुष्टभुक्
He is the lord of the circle of heroes, exceedingly fierce, the destroyer of adversaries, Time and Śambara; lord of wrath, fierce as Rudra and Caṇḍī, the devourer of all wicked followers.
सर्वाक्षोभ्यो मृत्युमृत्युः कालमृत्युनिवर्त्तकः । असाध्यसर्वरोगघ्नः सर्वदुर्ग्रहसौम्यकृत्
He is unshakable by all, death to death itself, the turner back of the death of time; the destroyer of all incurable diseases, the pacifier of all malevolent influences.
गणेशकोटिदर्पघ्नो दुःसहाशेषगोत्रहा । देवदानवदुर्दर्शो जगद्भयदभीषणः
He crushes the pride of millions of Gaṇeśas, destroys all unbearable lineages; he is hard to behold for gods and demons, fearsome to the world.
समस्तदुर्गतित्राता जगद्भक्षकभक्षकः । उग्रशोंबरमार्जारः कालमूषकभक्षकः । अनंतायुधदोर्दंडी नृसिंहो वीरभद्रजित्

योगिनीचक्रगुह्येशः शक्रारि पशुमांसभुक् । रुद्रो नारायणो मेषरूप शंकरवाहनः

गौरीसौभाग्यदो मायानिधीर्मायाभयापहः । ब्रह्मतेजोमयो ब्रह्मश्रीमयश्च त्रयीमयः
He grants Gaurī's good fortune, is the treasure-house of illusion, remover of the fear of illusion, composed of Brahman's radiance, endowed with Brahman's glory, and embodies the three Vedas.
सुब्रह्मण्यो बलिध्वंसी वामनोऽदितिदुःखहा । उपेंद्रो नृपतिर्विष्णुः कश्यपान्वयमंडनः
He is Subrahmaṇya, destroyer of Bali, the dwarf who removes Aditi's sorrow, Upendra, king, Viṣṇu, the ornament of Kaśyapa's lineage.
बलिस्वराज्यदः सर्वदेवविप्रान्नदोऽच्युतः । उरुक्रमस्तीर्थपादस्त्रिपदस्थस्त्रिविक्रमः 6.71.
He is the giver of Bali's kingdom, the bestower of food to all gods and brahmins, the infallible one, of mighty stride, whose feet sanctify the holy places, who stands in three steps, the triple-strider.
व्योमपादः स्वपादांभः पवित्रितजगत्त्रयः । ब्रह्मेशाद्यभिवंद्यांघ्रिर्द्रुतधर्मांघ्रिधावनः
He whose feet reach the sky, whose foot-water purifies the three worlds, whose feet are revered by Brahmā and the lords, who swiftly pursues the path of righteousness.
अचिंत्याद्भुतविस्तारो विश्ववृक्षो महाबलः । राहुमूर्धापरांगच्छिद्भृगुपत्नीशिरोहरः
Of inconceivable and wondrous expanse, the world-tree, of great strength, who split Rāhu's head, who cut off the head of Bhṛgu's wife.
पापत्रस्तः सदापुण्यो दैत्याशानित्यखंडनः । पूरिताखिलदेवाशो विश्वार्थैकावतारकृत्
He is feared by sinners, always pure, destroyer of the hopes of demons, fulfiller of all the gods' desires, the sole cause of the world's welfare.
स्वमायानित्यगुप्तात्मा भक्तचिन्तामणिः सदा । वरदः कार्त्तवीर्यादि राजराज्यप्रदोऽनघः
Ever self-concealed by his own illusion, always the wish-fulfilling gem for devotees, bestower of boons, giver of royal dominion to Kārttavīrya and others, sinless one.
विश्वश्लाघ्यामिताचारो दत्तात्रेयो मुनीश्वरः । पराशक्तिसदाश्लिष्टो योगानंदः सदोन्मदः
Of conduct praised by the world, Dattātreya, lord of sages, ever embraced by supreme power, delight of yoga, always intoxicated.
समस्तेंद्रारितेजोहृत्परमामृतपद्मपः । अनुसूयागर्भरत्नं भोगमोक्षसुखप्रदः
He who takes away the radiance of all the gods' enemies, giver of the supreme nectar-lotus, the jewel born of Anasūyā's womb, giver of both enjoyment and liberation.
जमदग्निकुलादित्यो रेणुकाद्भुतशक्तिकृत् । मातृहत्यादिनिर्लेपः स्कंदजिद्विप्रराज्यदः

सर्वक्षत्रांतकृद्वीरदर्पहा कार्त्तवीर्यजित् । सप्तद्वीपावतीदाता शिवार्चक यशप्रदः
He is the destroyer of all kṣatriyas, subduer of heroes' pride, conqueror of Kārttavīrya, giver of the seven islands, worshipper of Śiva, bestower of fame.
भीमः परशुरामश्च शिवाचार्यैकविश्वभुक् । शिवाखिलज्ञानकोशो भीष्माचार्योऽग्निदैवतः
He is Bhīma, Paraśurāma, sole teacher of Śiva's ways to the world, repository of all Śiva's knowledge, teacher of Bhīṣma, the fire-god's deity.
द्रोणाचार्यगुरुर्विश्वजैत्रधन्वाकृतांतजित् । अद्वितीयतपोमूर्त्तिर्ब्रह्मचर्यैकदक्षिणः

मनुःश्रेष्ठः सतांसेतुर्महीयान्वृषभो विराट् । आदिराजः क्षितिपिता सर्वरत्नैकदोहकृत्
He is the foremost Manu, bridge for the virtuous, exalted bull, the mighty one, the first king, father of the earth, sole bestower of all gems.
पृथुर्जन्माद्येकदक्षो गीः श्रीः कीर्तिः स्वयंवृतः । जगद्वृत्तिप्रदश्चक्रवर्त्तिश्रेष्ठोद्वयास्त्रधृक्
He was born as Prithu, skilled from birth, accompanied by Speech, Fortune, and Fame, self-chosen, bestower of sustenance to the world, the foremost of universal emperors, wielder of unfailing weapons.
सनकादिमुनिप्राप्य भगवद्भक्तिवर्द्धनः । वर्णाश्रमादिधर्माणां कर्त्ता वक्ता प्रवर्त्तकः
Having received devotion to the Lord from sages like Sanaka, he increased divine devotion, and was the maker, speaker, and promoter of duties such as those of the social orders and stages of life.
