हिमवत्कोटिनिष्कंपः कोटिब्रह्मांडविग्रहः । कोट्यश्वमेधपापघ्नो यज्ञकोटिसमार्चनः
He is unwavering like ten million Himalayas, his form encompasses ten million universes. He destroys the sins of ten million horse sacrifices and is worshipped in ten million sacrifices.
सुधाकोटिस्वास्थ्यहेतुः कामधुक्कोटिकामदः । ब्रह्मविद्याकोटिरूपः शिपिविष्टः शुचिश्रवाः
He is the source of health for ten million nectars, grants desires like ten million wish-fulfilling cows. He is the embodiment of ten million forms of Brahma-knowledge, known as Shipivishta and praised for his purity.
विश्वंभरस्तीर्थपादः पुण्यश्रवणकीर्तनः । आदिदेवो जगज्जैत्रो मुकुंदः कालनेमिहा
He sustains the universe, his feet are holy places, and his fame is sanctified by hearing. He is the primordial deity, victorious over the world, Mukunda, destroyer of Kalanemi.
वैकुंठोऽनंतमाहात्म्यो महायोगेश्वरोत्सवः । नित्यतृप्तोलसद्भावो निःशंको नरकांतकः

He is the sole refuge of the distressed and the lordless, the remover of the world's afflictions, ever capable of compassion toward all, merciful, and the shelter of the virtuous.
योगेश्वरः सदोदीर्णो वृद्धिक्षयविवर्जितः । अधोक्षजो विश्वरेताः प्रजापति शताधिपः
He is the master of yoga, ever exalted, free from growth and decay, the transcendent, the seed of the universe, the lord of creatures, and the ruler of hundreds.
शक्रब्रह्मार्चितपदः शंभुब्रह्मोर्ध्वधामगः । सूर्यसोमेक्षणो विश्वभोक्ता सर्वस्य पारगः
His feet are worshipped by Indra and Brahma; he dwells in the highest abode of Shiva and Brahma; he is seen by the sun and moon, the enjoyer of the universe, and the one who transcends all.
जगत्सेतुर्धर्मसेतुधरो विश्वधुरंधरः । निर्ममोऽखिललोकेशो निःसंगोऽद्भुतभोगवान्
He is the bridge of the world, the bearer of righteousness, the supporter of the universe; without possessiveness, lord of all realms, unattached, and possessed of wondrous enjoyments.
वश्यमायो वश्यविश्वो विष्वक्सेनः सुरोत्तमः । सर्वश्रेयः पतिर्दिव्यानर्घ्यभूषणभूषितः
He controls Māyā, he controls the universe, he is Viṣvaksena, the best among the gods; lord of all auspiciousness, adorned with divine, priceless ornaments.
सर्वलक्षणलक्षण्यः सर्वदैत्येंद्रदर्पहा । समस्तदेवसर्वस्वं सर्वदैवत नायकः
He is marked by all auspicious signs, destroyer of the pride of all demon chiefs; the entirety of the gods' wealth, and the leader of all divinities.
समस्तदेवकवचं सर्वदेवशिरोमणिः । समस्तदेवतादुर्गः प्रपन्नाशनिपंजरः
He is the armor of all the gods, the crown jewel of all deities, the fortress of all divinities, and the cage for those who seek refuge.
समस्तभयहृन्नामा भगवान्विष्टरश्रवाः । विभुः सर्वहितोदर्को हतारिः स्वर्गतिप्रदः
He is named the remover of all fears, the blessed one of vast renown, the all-pervading, the source of universal welfare, destroyer of enemies, and giver of heavenly attainment.
सर्वदैवतजीवेशो ब्राह्मणादिनियोजकः । ब्रह्मशंभुः परार्धायुर्ब्रह्मज्येष्ठः शिशुः स्वराट्

विराड्भक्तपराधीनः स्तुत्यः स्तोत्रार्थसाधकः । परार्थकर्त्ताकृत्यज्ञः स्वार्थकृत्य सदोज्झितः
He is the cosmic form, dependent on the devotion of his followers, worthy of praise, fulfiller of the purpose of hymns; doer of others' purposes, knower of duties, ever free from self-serving acts.
सदानंदः सदाभद्रः सदाशांतः सदाशिवः । सदाप्रियः सदातुष्टः सदापुष्टः सदार्चितः
He is ever-blissful, ever-auspicious, ever-peaceful, ever-beneficent, ever-beloved, ever-content, ever-nourished, ever-worshipped.
सदापूतो पावनाग्र्यो वेदगुह्यो वृषाकपिः । सहस्रनामा त्रियुगश्चतुर्मूर्तिश्चतुर्भुजः
He is ever-pure, foremost purifier, hidden in the Vedas, Vṛṣākapi; bearer of a thousand names, present in three ages, four-formed, four-armed.

He is the remover of those who steal the meaning of Brahman, the source of all knowledge, the king of learning, the embodiment of wisdom, the ocean of knowledge, the possessor of indivisible intellect.
मत्स्यदेवो महाशृंगो जगद्बीजबहित्रदृक् । लीलाव्याप्ताखिलांभोधिश्चतुर्वेदप्रवर्त्तकः
He is the god in the form of the Fish, the great-horned one, the seer of the seed and the outer shell of the universe; by his play he pervades the entire ocean, the initiator of the four Vedas.
आदिकूर्मोऽखिलाधारस्तृणीकृतजगद्भरः । अमरीकृतदेवौघः पीयूषोत्पत्तिकारणम्
He is the primeval Tortoise, the support of all, who made the burden of the world as light as grass; he made the hosts of gods immortal, the cause of the origin of nectar.
आत्माधारो धराधारो यज्ञांगो धरणीधरः । हिरण्याक्षहरः पृथ्वीपतिः श्राद्धादिकल्पकः
He is the support of the self, the support of the earth, the embodiment of sacrifice, the bearer of the earth; the slayer of Hiraṇyākṣa, the lord of the earth, the creator of rites such as śrāddha.
समस्तपितृभीतिघ्नः समस्तपितृजीवनम् । हव्यकव्यैकभुक्हव्यकव्यैकफलदायकः
He is the destroyer of all fear for the ancestors, the very life of all the ancestors; the sole enjoyer of offerings to gods and ancestors, the sole giver of the fruits of such offerings.
रोमांतर्लीनजलधिः क्षोभिताशेषसागरः । महावराहो यज्ञघ्नध्वंसको यज्ञिकाश्रयः
The ocean is hidden within his body hair, he agitates all the seas; he is the great Boar, the destroyer of those who harm sacrifices, the refuge of sacrificers.
श्रीनृसिंहो दिव्यसिंहः सर्वानिष्टार्थदुःखहा । एकवीरोऽद्भुतबलो यंत्रमंत्रैकभंजनः
He is Śrī Nṛsiṃha, the divine lion, destroyer of all suffering and misfortune; the sole hero, of wondrous strength, the breaker of all machines and spells.
