Or on the full moon, at the junction called Pratipat, one should worship with proper devotion and with four kinds of Phalgu powder,

Or with other delightful colors, one should please the Supreme Lord; beginning on Ekadashi, one should conclude on the fifth day,
The festival of the swing is prescribed for five or three days; seeing Krishna facing south and seated on the swing, even once,
Those who see him are freed from all accumulated offenses—of this there is no doubt; placing in a water vessel during the month called Madhava,
In a golden, silver, copper, or even earthen vessel, whoever worships the deity arisen from Shalagrama and placed in water,

Or the image, O noble one, his merit cannot be measured; having performed the placing of damana grass, he should offer it to Shri Vishnu,
In Vaishakha, Shravana, or Bhadra, that offering should be made; in the earlier months, in the rituals involving damana and the like, when the wind is present,
It should be performed according to the prescribed method; otherwise, it becomes fruitless. Especially on the third day of Vaishakha, in water,
Or one may do so in a circle, or in a pavilion, or in a great forest; daily, the body should be anointed with fragrant sandalwood,
One should do so with as much effort as possible, as nourishment for a body that is thin; sandalwood, aguru, spikenard, Krishna-kumkuma, and yellow pigment,
Jatamansi and mura—these are known as the eight fragrances of Vishnu; with these various scents, one should anoint the limbs of Vishnu.
Tulasi wood, when combined with camphor and agarwood, or alternatively with saffron, is called harichandana.

If here there is sufficient authority for describing the form and qualities of Shri Krishna, and for understanding the scriptures, then what need is there for other readings? If the mind is absorbed in the nectar of love, emotion, and devotion to Krishna, what use are desires for women?

For those whose minds worship the chief of the cowherd boys, the land of Vrindavana, and the waters of Yamuna, their bodies, smeared with the dust from the lotus feet of the Lord of that world, are vainly adorned with agarwood and sandalwood.
