Whoever worships Hari in the discus or in the Śālagrāma stone, for him, each day, it is as if he has performed a thousand Rājasūya sacrifices.
The Vedāntas always praise the eternal, blissful, unchanging one; by worshipping the Śālagrāma stone, his grace arises for people.
Just as fire present in great wood becomes manifest in the place of sacrifice, so too does Hari, who is all-pervading, become manifest in the Śālagrāma stone.
Even those engaged in sinful conduct, those not qualified for ritual acts, and Vaiśyas who worship the Śālagrāma, do not go to the abode of Yama.
Hari does not delight so much in Lakṣmī, nor so much in his own abode, as he always delights in the wheel of the Śālagrāma stone.
He who worships Hari manifest in the Śālagrāma stone has performed the Agnihotra and given the earth with its oceans.
O Vaiśya, I will tell you the merit of one who worships, according to rule, twelve stones arising from Śālagrāma.
The merit obtained in one day by worshipping twelve Śālagrāma stones equals that gained by worshipping crores of twelve-liṅga images with golden lotuses at twelve times.
Whoever worships a hundred Śālagrāma stones with devotion, after living thus, is born as a universal monarch in the world of Hari.
Even the lowest man, filled with desires, anger, and greed, attains the world of Hari through worship of the Śālagrāma stone.
A man who joyfully worships Govinda in the Śālagrāma does not fall from heaven until the end of the cosmic dissolution.
Without pilgrimages, without gifts, without sacrifices, and without special resolve, men attain liberation by worship of the Śālagrāma stone.
Even a sinful Vaiśya who worships the Śālagrāma stone does not go to hell, the womb, the state of animals, or the birth of worms.
He who knows the rite of initiation, the mantras, and who offers the prescribed oblation—Ganga, Godavari, Reva, and all the rivers that grant liberation—
All these sacred rivers dwell beneficially in the water of the Śālagrāma stone, along with various offerings, flowers, incense, lamps, and ointments.
He who, devoted to worship in the Kali age, worships the Śālagrāma stone with songs, musical instruments, hymns, and the like—
For thousands of crores of aeons, one delights in the presence of Hari; the fruit obtained by seeing and worshipping crores of liṅgas—
That very fruit is obtained in a single day by worshipping the Śālagrāma stone, even by worshipping the liṅga arising from the Śālagrāma stone just once.
Indeed, men who are devoid of Sāṅkhya knowledge attain liberation where Keśava abides in the form of the Śālagrāma stone.
There, all the gods, the deities, the Yakṣas, and the fourteen worlds are present where a man performs śrāddha for ancestors at the Śālagrāma stone.
The ancestors of those who daily drink water from the Śālagrāma stone remain satisfied in heaven for a hundred aeons.
What is the use of performing service with a thousand offerings of pañcagavya, or with a thousand crores of holy pilgrimages?
If one drinks the sacred water that has touched the Śālagrāma stone, wherever the Śālagrāma stone is present, that place is a holy site for three yojanas around.
There, any gift or oblation becomes a crore times more fruitful; whoever drinks even a drop of water from the Śālagrāma stone attains this.
A person who partakes of Viṣṇu's share near the Śālagrāma stone, within a krośa in all directions, never drinks mother's milk again.
Even an insect that dies there attains the supreme abode of Vaikuṇṭha; whoever gives the disc of the Śālagrāma stone as a supreme gift—
By that, the earth's disc, along with its mountains, forests, and groves, is given; whoever assigns a price to the Śālagrāma stone—
The seller, the approver, and whoever delights in examining it—all of them go to hell until the end of creation.
Therefore, a merchant should avoid buying and selling the disc; what is the use of many words? The merchant should act with fear of sin.
The remembrance of Vāsudeva, Hari, destroys all sins; a man who performs austerity in a dreadful forest with controlled senses—
