Family, character, wife, son, and daughter, as well as wealth, kingdom, health, knowledge, and wisdom—all these are obtained.
The Vedas, their branches, scriptures, Puranas, Agamas, and Samhitas—all, I consider, are held in the hand when Hari is worshipped with Tulasi.
Just as the Ganga, pure-bodied, grants liberation in the world of the gods, and as the sacred Bhagirathi does, so too does auspicious Tulasi.
Moreover, neither Ganga water nor service at Pushkara brings such joy as water mixed with Tulasi leaves.

Wherever there is a grove of Tulasi and the presence of Kesava, there Brahma and Lakshmi dwell, together with all the hosts of gods.
Therefore, one should always worship that goddess closely; whatever hymns, mantras, or other acts are performed, all attain their highest reward.
And all the spirits, goblins, flesh-eaters, Brahma-rākṣasas, ghosts, demons, and the like, always flee from that place.
Misfortune, disease, vertigo, and all the mothers such as Ḍākinīs, are all restrained when they see a leaf of Tulasī.
Sins such as Brahmin-murder, diseases born of sin, and all those caused by evil spells are destroyed there.

Those who plant Tulasī on earth for Mādhava rejoice; that steadfast person goes to the abode of Mādhava.
He who, after worshipping Lord Hari, places the offered Tulasī leaf on his own head, purified from sin, goes to heaven.
In worship, singing, meditation, planting, or wearing in the age of Kali, Tulasī burns away sin and grants heaven and liberation.
Whoever instructs others about her and practices himself again—
He attains the supreme abode, the dwelling of Mādhava; and whatever pleases Hari, let that be dearest to me.
For all the gods and goddesses, in all directions, at ancestral rites and sacrifices, a single leaf, O Six-faced One—
Therefore, with all effort, serve Tulasī; for whoever serves Tulasī has served everything.
Therefore, serve the guru, the Brahmin, the gods, and holy places, O Ṣaṇmukha; whoever departs with Tulasī on his topknot—
Freed from the mass of evil deeds, he attains heaven without suffering, more than by Rājasūya and other sacrifices, vows, and various restraints.
The state attained by the steadfast through service to Tulasī is gained; by worshipping Hari with even a single Tulasī leaf—
He attains the status of a devotee of Viṣṇu—what need is there for other extensive scriptures? One should not drink the milk of Tulasī's mother, even in crores.

We are unable to fully express all the virtues, even over a long period; but whoever listens daily to this account, which is a storehouse of merit—
—is freed from sins committed in previous births and from the bondage of birth; merely by reciting it once, one attains the fruit of the Vahnistoma sacrifice.
He will never suffer from diseases, nor will his children be foolish at any time; he always attains victory and never meets defeat.
In the house where this text is kept, prosperity flourishes; there is neither illness nor ghosts, nor sorrow nor disrespect.
