अथ गोलोकनाथस्य गोम्नां विवरतो मुने
O sage, then, from the opening of the cows of the Lord of Goloka—
प्राणतुल्यप्रियाः सर्वे बभूवुः पार्षदा विभोः
All the attendants of the Lord became as dear to him as his own life.
राधातुल्याः सर्वतश्च राधादास्यः प्रियंवदाः
All around, there were those equal to Rādhā, and maidservants of Rādhā, speaking sweetly.
आविर्बभूव सा दुर्गा विष्णुमाया सनातनी
Then she appeared—Durgā, the eternal power of Viṣṇu.
परिपूर्णतमा तेजः स्वरूपा त्रिगुणात्मिका
She is the embodiment of the most complete energy, of triple nature.
या तु संसारवृक्षस्य बीजरूपा सनातनी
She, the eternal one, is the seed-form of the tree of worldly existence.
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे तत्र सस्त्रीकस्तु चतुर्मुखः
Meanwhile, there, the four-faced one appeared, together with his consort.
कमण्डलुधरो जातस्तपस्वी नाभितो हरेः
Holding a water-pot, ascetic, he was born from the navel of Hari.
निषसादासने रम्ये विभोस्तस्याज्ञया मुने
By the command of the Lord, O sage, he sat upon a beautiful seat.
वामार्द्धाङ्गो महादेवो दक्षार्द्धो गोपिकापतिः
Mahādeva, with his left half, and the Lord of the Gopīs, with his right half—
स्तुत्वा कृष्णं समाज्ञप्तो निषसाद हरेः पुरः
Having praised Kṛṣṇa, and having been instructed, he sat before Hari.
सत्यलोके स्थितो नित्यङ्गच्छ मांस्मर सर्वदा
Residing always in Satyaloka, go, and always remember me.
जगाम भार्यया साकं स तु सृष्टिं करोति वै
He went together with his wife, and indeed performs creation.
ततः पश्चात्पञ्चवक्त्रं कृष्णं प्राह महामते
Then, afterwards, the five-faced one addressed Kṛṣṇa, O wise one.
यावत्सृष्टिस्तदन्ते तु लोकान्संहर सर्वतः
At the end of creation, withdraw all the worlds from everywhere.
ततः कालान्तरे ब्रह्मन्कृष्णस्य परमात्मनः
Then, after a period of time, O Brahman, of Krishna, the Supreme Self—
तामादिदेश भघगवान् वैकुण्ठं गच्छ मानदे
The Blessed Lord instructed her: 'Go to Vaikuntha, O honored one.'
सापि कृष्णं नमस्कृत्य गता नारायणान्तिकम्
She, having bowed to Krishna, went to the presence of Narayana.
आसां पूर्णस्वरूपाणां मन्त्रध्यानार्चनादिकम्
Of these, who are of complete form, there are mantra, meditation, worship, and so on.
तारः क्रियायुक् प्रतिश्ठा प्रीत्याढ्या च ततः परम्
The syllable, the acts, the establishment, and supreme fullness with devotion—
सुतपास्तु ऋषिश्छन्दो गायत्री देवता मनोः
The seer is Sutapas, the meter is Chandas, the deity is Gayatri, and the mind is Manu.
षडक्षरैः षडङ्गानि कुर्याद्विन्दुविभूषितैः
With the six-syllabled mantra, one should make the six limbs, adorned with bindus.
श्वेतचंपकवर्णाभां कोटिचन्द्रसमप्रभाम्
With a radiance like white champaka flowers, shining like ten million moons—
सुश्रोणीं सुनितंबां च पक्वबिंबाधरांबराम्
With beautiful hips, a slender waist, and lips like ripe bimba fruit—
रत्नकेयूरवलयहारकुण्डलशोभिताम्
Adorned with jeweled armlets, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings—
रासमण्डलमध्यस्थां रत्नसिंहासनस्थिताम्
Seated at the center of the rasa circle, upon a jeweled throne—
लक्षषट्कं जपेन्मन्त्रं तद्दशांशं हुनेत्तिलैः
Recite the mantra one hundred thousand times, and offer one-tenth of that with sesame seeds.
षट्कोणेषु षडङ्गानि तद्बाह्ये ऽष्टदले यजेत्
In the six corners, worship the six limbs; outside that, worship in the eight-petaled (lotus).
ततः शशिकलां पारिजातां पद्मावतीं तथा
Then, the lunar digit, Parijata, and likewise Padmavati—
इन्द्राद्यान्सायुधानिष्ट्वा विनियोगांस्तु साधयेत्
Having worshipped Indra and others with their weapons, one should perform the assignments.
