गोपप्रेष्ठा गोपकन्या गोपनारी सुगोपिका
She is dear to the cowherds, a cowherd maiden, a cowherd woman, and an excellent gopī.
गोपभूषा कृष्णभूषा श्रीवृन्दावनचन्द्रिका
She is the ornament of the cowherds, the ornament of Kṛṣṇa, and the moonlight of holy Vṛndāvana.
कृष्णचेष्टा परिज्ञाता कोटिकन्दर्पमोहिनी
She is known through Kṛṣṇa's actions and bewilders millions of Cupids.
कृष्णचन्द्रमनोज्ञा च कृष्णदेवसहोदरी
She is charming to Kṛṣṇa Candra and is the sister of the god Kṛṣṇa.
क्षेमा च मधुरालापा भ्रुवोमाया सुभद्रिका
She is well-being, sweet-spoken, her eyebrows are magical, and she is auspicious.
कृपाकटाक्षा बिंबोष्टी रंभा चारुनितंबिनी
Her glance is full of compassion, her lips are red as bimba fruit, she is like Rambhā, and her gait is graceful.
हेमाद्रिकान्तिरुचिरा प्रेमाद्या मदमन्थरा
She is radiant as the splendor of Mount Meru, foremost in love, and slow from intoxication.
रासचिन्ता भावचिन्ता शुद्धचन्ता महारसा
She is absorbed in the rasa dance, in feeling, in pure thought, and is the great rasa itself.
कन्दर्पजननी मुख्या वैकुण्ठगतिदायिनी
She is the foremost mother of desire, the giver of the path to Vaikuṇṭha.
शुद्धादेहिनी च श्रीरामा रसमञ्जरी
She is Śrī Rāmā, pure-bodied, the blossom of rasa.
गोमती चन्द्रभागेड्या सरयूस्ताम्रपर्णिसूः

एतन्नामसहस्रं तु युग्मरूपस्य नारद
O Nārada, this is the thousand names of the two-formed one.
महापापप्रशमनं वन्ध्यात्वविनिवर्तकम्
It removes great sins and turns back barrenness.
पापापहं वैरिहरं राधामाधवभक्तिदम्
It destroys sin, removes enemies, and bestows devotion to Rādhā and Mādhava.
राधासंगसुधासिंधौ नमो नित्यविहारिणे
Salutations to the eternal enjoyer in the ocean of nectar that is Rādhā’s company.
जगल्लयविधात्री च सर्वेशी सर्वसूतिका
She is the creatrix of the dissolution of the world, the sovereign of all, the mother of all.
भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदं दिव्यं किं भूयः श्रोतुमिच्छसि
This is the divine bestower of enjoyment and liberation—what more do you wish to hear?
महातन्त्रविधानं नः कुमारोक्तं त्वयोदितम्
The great tantra teaching spoken by Kumāra has been related by you to us.
यदिहोदितमस्मभ्यं त्वयातिकरुणात्मना
What you have told us here, O most compassionate one—
भूयः पप्रच्छ किं साधो कुमारं विदुषां वरम्
Again, the sage asked Kumāra, the foremost of the wise, what more there was.
सनत्कुमारमप्याह प्रणम्य ज्ञानिनां वरम्
Sanatkumāra, the best of the wise, was also addressed after being saluted.
तत्रापि कृष्णमन्त्राणां वैभवं ह्युदितं महत्
There, too, the great glory of Kṛṣṇa mantras was declared.
तस्या अंशावताराणां चरितं मन्त्रपूर्वकम्
The deeds of her partial incarnations, preceded by mantra, were recounted.
शक्तेस्तन्त्राण्यनेकानि शिवोक्तानि मुनीश्वर
Many tantras of the Power, spoken by Śiva, O best of sages, are there.
तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तस्य नारदस्य महात्मनः
Hearing those words of the great-souled Nārada,
शृणु नारद वक्ष्यामि राधांशानां समुद्भवम्
Hear, O Nārada, I will tell you the origin of Rādhā’s portions.
या तु राधा मया प्रोक्ता कृष्णार्द्धाङ्गसमुद्भवा
That Rādhā, of whom I have spoken, arose from half the body of Kṛṣṇa.
तेजोमण्डलमध्यस्था दृश्यदृश्यस्वरूपिणी
She stands at the center of the radiant sphere, possessing both visible and invisible forms.
कृष्णस्य वामभागात्तु जातो नारायणः स्वयम्
From the left side of Kṛṣṇa, Nārāyaṇa himself was born.
ततः कृष्णो महालक्ष्मीं दत्त्वा नारायणाय च
Then Kṛṣṇa gave Mahālakṣmī to Nārāyaṇa.
