वामोरुन्यस्तं तद्धस्तं सीतालक्ष्मणसंयुतम्
With his left thigh placed, that hand joined with Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa.
शुद्धस्फटिकसंकाशं केवलं मोक्षकाङ्क्षया
Resembling pure crystal, solely for those desiring liberation.
सर्व्वं षडर्णवञ्चास्य होमनित्यार्चनादिकम्
All the six oceans, as well as his daily offerings and worship, are to be performed.
एकाक्षरोक्त वत्सर्वं मुनिध्यानार्चनादिकम्
All this, as stated in the single-syllable, pertains to the sage's meditation and worship.
त्र्यक्षरो मन्त्रराजः स्यात्षड्विधः सकलेष्टदः
The three-syllabled mantra is the king of mantras, sixfold, granting all desired objects.
एकार्णोक्तवदेतेषां मुनिध्यानार्चनादिकम्
As with the single-syllable, so for these, the sage's meditation and worship are to be performed.
अष्टार्णो ऽयं महामन्त्रो मुन्याद्यर्चा षडर्णवत्
This great mantra consists of eight syllables, and, like the six-syllabled one, is to be worshipped by sages and others.
शिवोमाराममन्त्रो ऽयमष्टार्णः सर्वसिद्धिदः

One should offer oblations with bilva leaves, fruits, flowers, sesame seeds, or lotuses.
तारो माया च भरताग्रजराममनोभवः
The syllable 'tāra', Māyā, Bharata's elder brother Rāma, and Manobhava.
अङ्गिराश्च मुनिश्छन्दो गायत्री देवता पुनः
Aṅgiras is the sage, Chandas is the meter, and again Gāyatrī is the deity.
चन्द्रैकमुनिभूनेत्रैर्मन्त्रार्णैरङ्गकल्पनम्

उत्तमश्लोकधुर्याय स्वं भृगुः कामिकान्वितः
