भयं जन्मजरान्ते मरणादिशब्दमीरयेत्
At the end of birth and old age, let the sound of death and similar words be uttered.
ज्ञेयरूपधारणान्ते नृसिंहबृहत्सामतः
At the conclusion of assuming the form of knowledge, from the great Sāma of Narasiṃha, let it be uttered.
अष्टाष्टकं चतुःषष्टि चेटिकाभयमीरयेत्
At the end of the eight octads and sixty-four attendants, let the sound of fearlessness be uttered.
नमितान्ते पदपदात्पङ्कजान्वित ईरयेत्
At the end of bowing, from each word, let it be uttered, accompanied by lotuses.

Then, from the word of terrible laughter and smiling, let the abode of the universe be uttered.
परमहंस विश्वेश विश्वान्ते तु विडंबन
O Supreme Swan, Lord of the Universe, at the end of the universe, let mockery be uttered.
हृषीकेश च स्वच्छन्द निःशेषजीव विन्यसेत्
Let Hṛṣīkeśa and Svacchanda, the disposer of all living beings, be established.
लंपटान्ते खेचरीति सिद्ध्यतें तु प्रदायक
At the end of 'greedy', let 'sky-goer' be uttered, as the giver of accomplishment.
ततो ब्रह्मसहस्रान्ते कोटिस्रग्रुण्डशब्दतः
Then, at the end of a thousand Brahmas, from the sound of a crore garlands, let it be uttered.
वराहान्ते नृसिंहेति वामनान्ते समीरयेत्
At the end of Varāha, let 'Narasiṃha' be uttered; at the end of Vāmana, likewise let it be uttered.
रामत्रय ततो विष्णुरूपान्ते धर एव च
After the three Rāmas, at the end of the form of Viṣṇu, let 'Dharā' also be uttered.
निविष्टवह्निजायान्ते स्वधा चैव ततो वषट्
At the end of the wife of the established fire, let 'svadhā' and then 'vaṣaṭ' be uttered.
आदिदेवपदात्प्राणापानपश्चान्निविष्टितः
From the word 'primordial deity', after prāṇa and apāna, let it be established at the end.
महामाया अमोघान्ते दर्यं दैत्यन्द्रशब्दतः
At the end of 'great illusion' and 'infallible', from the sound of the lord of demons, let it be uttered.
तेजस्वरान्ते पुरुषपंङेंते सत्यपूरुष
At the end of 'radiant', at the end of 'person', let 'true person' be uttered.
तारमायामूर्तेः फट् वः कामः स्वरादिमः
The syllable tāra, the form of Māyā, phaṭ, vaḥ, kāma, and svarādi are to be uttered.
मायाविश्वात्मने षट् च तारः सौचं तुरात्मने
For the soul of Māyā and the universe, recite ṣaṭ and tāra; for the pure and transcendent soul, recite sauca and turātmā.
तारौह्नैपरमान्ते तु ह्रंसफट्प्रणवस्ततः
At the supreme end of tāra, utter hraṃsa, phaṭ, and praṇava thereafter.
ह्रैं अनौपम्यरूपधारिणास्त्रं ध्रुवस्ततः
Hraiṃ is the weapon for the bearer of the incomparable form; then comes dhruva.
ष्टाङ्गविन्यासविन्य स्तमूर्तिधारिंस्ततश्च फट्
With the application of ṣṭāṅga, assign the form-bearing, then utter phaṭ.
तारो वर्मत्रयं संकरं वं चामुकमस्तकम्
Tāra is the triple armor; saṃkara, vaṃ, and the head of the cāmuka.
द्वयं ततो महात्मन्स्यान्सम्यग्दर्शययुग्मकम्
After that, O great soul, two pairs are to be shown correctly.
उत्तरायं द्वयं पञ्चबाणबीजानि वोञ्चरेत्
Then, in the north, two sets of the five-arrow seeds are to be recited.
नृसिंहान्ते ततः कालात्मने स्वाहा ध्रुवस्ततः
At the end of Nṛsiṃha, for the soul of Time, recite svāhā and then dhruva.
मायातारान्तिमो मन्त्रः सहस्राक्षरसंमितः
The final mantra of Māyā-tāra is said to be equal to a thousand syllables.
श्रीलक्ष्मीर्नृहरिर्बीजं क्षैं शक्तिर्वह्निवल्लभा
Śrī Lakṣmī is the seed of Nṛhari; kṣaiṃ is the power, beloved of fire.
क्षेत्रं च परमात्मा तु विनियोगो ऽखिलात्पये
The field is the Supreme Soul; the assignment is to be made from all.
