निशितैर्नखदंष्ट्राग्रैः खाद्यमानं च संस्मरेत्
One should contemplate the being devoured by sharp tips of nails and fangs.
जायते मण्डलादर्वाक् शत्रुर्वै शमनातिथिः

श्रीकामः सततं ध्यायेत्पूर्वोक्तं नृहरिं सितम्

चन्द्रमौलिं नीलकण्ठं प्रतिवक्त्रं त्रिनेत्रकम्
With the moon on his head, blue-throated, facing in every direction, and three-eyed.
अक्षसूत्रं गदापद्मं शङ्खं गोक्षीरसन्निभम्
Holding a rosary, mace, lotus, conch, and resembling cow’s milk in hue.
खड्गं शूलं च बाणं च नृहरिं रुद्ररूपिणम्
Holding a sword, spear, arrow, manifesting as Narahari, in the form of Rudra.
पूर्वादि चोत्तरं यावदूद्ध्वार्स्यं सर्ववर्णकम्
From the east and onward, up to the north and above, displaying all colors.
सर्वमृत्युहरं दिव्य स्मरणात्सर्वसिद्धिदम्
The remover of all death, divine, granting all accomplishments by remembrance.
नृसिंहः सर्वलोकेशः सर्वाभरणभूषितः

एवं ध्यात्वा जपेन्मन्त्री सर्वकार्यार्थसिद्धये
Thus meditating, the reciter should chant the mantra for the fulfillment of all aims.
स्वर्णवर्णसुपर्णस्थं विद्युन्मालासटान्वितम्
Golden-hued, seated upon Suparna, adorned with a garland of lightning.
चक्रशङ्खाभयवरान्दधतं करपल्लवैः
Holding the discus, conch, gesture of fearlessness, and boon-bestowing with their lotus-like hands.
शत्रोः सेनानिरोधेन यत्नं कुर्याञ्च साधकम्
He should make every effort to effectively block the enemy's army.
देवं नृसिंहं संपूज्य कुसुमाद्युपचारकैः
Having worshipped Lord Narasimha with offerings such as flowers and others,
रिपुं खादन्निव जपेन्निर्दहन्निव तं क्षिपेत्
He should recite the mantra as if devouring the enemy, as if burning him up, and cast it upon him.
प्रस्थापयेच्छुभे लग्ने परराष्ट्रजयेच्छया
He should set out at an auspicious moment, desiring victory over the foreign kingdom.
स्मृत्वा जपं प्रक्लर्वीत यावदायाति सा पुनः
Remembering the mantra, he should recite it until she returns again.
प्रीणयेन्मन्त्रिणं राजा विभवैः प्रीतमानसः
The king, with a delighted mind, should please the minister with wealth.
यदि मन्त्री न तुष्येत तदानर्थो महीपतेः
If the minister is not satisfied, then misfortune befalls the king.
