वश्यार्थं च सदा ध्यायेद्वर्ह्याभं वह्निमण्डे
For the purpose of subjugation, one should always meditate on the fire-colored form within the fire circle.
ह्यमण्डलगतं स्वच्छं वाराहं सर्वसिद्धिदम्
Indeed, within the air circle, one should meditate on the clear form of Varaha, bestower of all accomplishments.
भग्वर्धीशयुतं व्योमबिन्दुभूषितमस्तकम्
With the Lord of Speech joined, and the head adorned with a dot of the sky,
पूजाद्यार्ध्यादिकं सर्वमस्यां पूर्वोक्तवञ्चरेत्
All acts of worship, offerings, and the like should be performed here as previously described.
ताराद्यो वसुवर्णो ऽयं सर्वैश्वर्यप्रदायकः
This one, beginning with the syllable 'ta', is of golden color and bestows all sovereignty.
देवश्चन्द्रेद्वब्धिनेत्रैः सवेणाङ्गक्रिया मता
The deity is considered to have two eyes like the moon and the ocean, with all limbs complete.
धरणिद्वितयं पश्चाद्धरेर्द्वयमुदीरयेत् धरणिद्वितयं पश्चाद्धरेर्द्वयमुदीरयेत्
Behind, two forms of the earth should be visualized, and then two forms of Hari.
वराहो ऽस्य मुनिश्छन्दो गायत्री निवृदादिका वराहो ऽस्य मुनिश्छन्दो गायत्री निवृदादिका
For this, the meter is Varaha, the sage is Gayatri, and the beginning is nivṛtti and others.
रामवेदाग्निबाणाक्षिनेत्रार्णैरङ्गरकल्पनम् रामवेदाग्निबाणाक्षिनेवार्णैरङ्गकल्पनम्
The limbs are to be conceived with the syllables of Rama, Veda, Agni, arrow, and eye.
नीलांबुजद्वयं शालिमञ्जरीं च शुक्रं करैः नीलांबुजद्वयं शालिमञ्जरीञ्च शुकं करैः
With the hands, two blue lotuses, a cluster of rice, and a white lotus should be visualized.
एवं ध्यात्वा जपेल्लक्षं दशांशं पायसेन तु एवं ध्यात्वा जपेल्लक्षं दशांशं पायसेन तु
Having meditated thus, one should recite one hundred thousand times, offering a tenth part with milk-rice.
मूर्तिं संकल्प्य मूलेन तस्यां वसुमतीं यजेत् मूर्तिं संकल्प्य गूलेन तस्यां वसुमतीं यजेत्
Conceiving the form with the root-mantra, one should worship the Earth within it.
दिक्पात्रेषु च सम्पूज्य कोणपत्रेषु तत्कलाः दिक्पात्रेषु च सम्पूज्य कोणपत्रेषु तत्कलाः
Having duly worshipped in the vessels of the directions, one should worship the respective energies in the corner vessels.
इन्द्राद्यानपि वञ्चादीन्पूजयेत्तदनन्तरम् इन्द्राद्यानपि वज्रादीन्पूजयेत्तदनन्तरम्
After that, one should worship Indra and others, as well as Vajra and the rest.
धरणी प्रभजन्नेवं पशुरत्नांबरादिभिः धरणीं प्रभजन्नेवं पशुरत्नांबरादिभिः
Thus, offering the Earth with cattle, gems, garments, and the like,
त्रैलोक्यमोहनो मन्त्रो जगन्नाथस्य कीर्त्यते त्रैलोक्यमोहनो मन्त्रो जगन्नाथस्य कीर्त्यते
The mantra of Jagannatha, which bewilders the three worlds, is proclaimed.
श्रीकण्ठः प्रतिरूपान्ते लक्ष्मीति च निवासि च श्रीकण्ठः प्रतिरूपान्ते लक्ष्मीति च निवासिं च
At the end of the form of Śrīkaṇṭha, recite 'Lakṣmī' and also 'nivāsi' (the dweller).
सर्वस्त्रीहृदयान्ते तु विदारणपदं वदेत् सर्वस्त्रीहृदयान्ते तु विदारणपदं वदेत्
At the end of all words relating to women, one should utter the word 'vidāraṇa' (rending).
सुरासुरान्ते मनुजसुंदरीजनवर्णतः सुरासुरान्ते मनुजसुंदरीजनवर्णतः
At the end of the words for gods and demons, use the term describing beautiful human women.
शोषयद्वितयं पश्चान्मारयद्वितयं ततः शोषयद्वितयं पश्चान्मारयद्वितयं ततः
After that, recite the pair of words 'śoṣaya' (dry up), then the pair 'māraya' (destroy).
द्रावयद्वितयं तावदाकर्षययुगं ततः द्रावयद्वितयं तावदाकर्षययुगं ततः
Then, recite the pair 'drāvaya' (drive away), and after that, the pair 'ākarṣaya' (attract).
सर्वसौभाग्यशब्दान्ते करसर्वपदं वदेत्
At the end of all words denoting prosperity, one should utter the word 'karasarva' (all-doing hand).
चक्रेण गदया पश्चात्खड्गेन तदनन्तरम्
Afterwards, with the discus and the mace, and then with the sword.
अङ्कुशेनेति संप्रोच्य ताडयद्वितयं पुनः
Having invoked the goad, again recite the pair 'tāḍaya' (strike).
ततो मे सिद्धिराभास्य भवमन्ते च वर्म फट्
Then, having visualized my accomplishment, at the end of the recitation, utter the armor mantra 'phaṭ'.
जैमिनिर्मुनिरस्योक्तश्छन्दश्चामितमीरितम्
The sage Jaimini is declared as the seer of this, and the meter is said to be 'Amita'.
कामो बीजं रमा शक्तिर्विनियोगो ऽखिलाप्तये
Kāma is the seed, Ramā is the power, and the application is for the attainment of all.
हृदयं कीर्तितं पश्चाज्जगत्क्षोभणशब्दतः
After the heart mantra, recite the word that agitates the world.
मन्मथो तमशब्दान्ते मङ्गजे पदमीरयेत्
At the end of the word 'tamas', recite the word 'Maṅgaja' (born of auspiciousness) for Manmatha.
परमान्ते भृगुकर्णाभ्यां च सर्वपदं ततः
At the end of the supreme, with both the ears of Bhṛgu, then the word 'sarva' (all).
