भक्तियुक्ताय शिष्याय देया वा निजसूनवे
They may be given to a devoted disciple or to one's own son.
यान्प्राप्य मानवास्तूर्णं प्राप्नुवन्ति निजेप्सितम्
By obtaining these, men swiftly attain their desired goals.
ब्रह्मादयो ऽपि याञ्ज्ञात्वा समर्थाः स्युर्जगत्कृतौ
Even Brahma and the others, upon knowing this, would become capable of creating the world.
अष्टाक्षरो मनुश्चास्य साध्यो नारायणो मुनिः
Its mantra is composed of eight syllables, and the sage for its practice is Narayana.
ॐ बीजं यं च तथा शक्तिर्विनियोगो ऽखिलाप्तये
The seed is 'Om', 'yam' is the energy, and the application is for attaining all things.
