दारिद्षं तु पराभूय जायते धनदोपमः
Having overcome poverty, he becomes equal to the god of wealth.
अष्टोत्तरशतं नित्यं हुत्वा प्राग्वत्फलं लभेत्
By offering one hundred and eight oblations daily, he obtains the fruit as previously described.
अपूपैर्वत्सरे स स्यात्समृद्धेः परमं पदम्
If performed without proper offerings for a year, he attains the highest state of prosperity.
हविषा पा यसान्नेन नैवेद्यं परिकल्पयेत्
One should prepare the offering with clarified butter, milk, and cooked rice.
निवेदितेन जुहुयात्सहरस्रं विधिवद्वसौ
With what has been offered, he should make a thousand oblations according to the proper rite.
अथान्यत्साधनं वक्ष्ये लोकानां हितकाम्यया
Now I shall declare another method, desiring the welfare of the worlds.
नानाफलैस्ततोमन्त्री हरिद्रामथ सैन्धवम्
With various fruits, appropriate mantras, turmeric, and rock salt,
विशोध्य चूर्णं प्रसृतौ गवां मूत्रे विनिक्षिपेत्
After purifying, one should place the powder in the urine of cows.
स्नातामृतुदिने शुद्धां शुक्लांबरधरां शुभाम्
On an auspicious day, having bathed, wearing pure white garments, and being pure,
सर्वलक्षणसंपन्नं वन्ध्यापि लभते सुतम्
Even a barren woman obtains a son endowed with all auspicious marks.
गोचर्ममात्रां धरणीमुपलिप्य प्रयत्नतः
Carefully smear the ground, measuring the size of a cowhide.
शुद्धोदकेन संपूर्य तस्योपरि निधापयेत्
Fill it with pure water and place it above that.
षडष्टाक्षरमन्त्राभ्यां दीपमारोपयेच्छुभम्
With the six- and eight-syllabled mantras, one should install an auspicious lamp.
स्नातां कुमारीमथवा कुमारं पूजयेत्सुधीः
A wise person should worship a bathed maiden or a boy.
प्रदीपे स्थापिते पश्येद्द्विजरूपं गणेश्वरम्
When the lamp is placed, one should see Lord Ganesha in the form of a twice-born child.
सकलं प्रवदेदेवं कुमारी वा कुमारकः
The maiden or the boy should recite the entire invocation of the deity.
अन्ये ऽपि मन्त्रा देवर्षे सन्ति तन्त्रे गणेशितुः
There are also other mantras, O divine sage, for Lord Ganesha in the tantra.
अष्टविंशरसार्णाभ्यां तन्न पश्येदपि क्वचित्
With the twenty-eight-syllabled essence mantras, one should never see that anywhere.
शठेभ्यः परशिष्येभ्यो वञ्चकेभ्यो ऽपि मा वद
Do not speak to the deceitful, to false disciples, or to those who would cheat you.
प्राप्येह सकलान्भोगनिन्ते मुक्तिपदं व्रजेत्
Having enjoyed all pleasures here, one should attain the state of liberation.
मन्त्राणां यत्समाराध्य सर्वेष्टं प्रामुयाहृवि
By properly worshipping with mantras, one attains all desired ends.
ससर्गा बामकर्णोढ्यो भृगुर्वढ्यासनो मरुत्
The seer is Bhrigu, the meter is Bāmakaṛṇoḍhya, the deity is Marut.
देवभागो मुनिश्छन्दो गायत्री देवता रविः
The share belongs to the gods, the sage is Chandas, the Gayatri is the meter, and the deity is the Sun.
सत्याय हृदयं पश्चाद्ब्रह्मणे शिर ईरितम्
For truth, the heart; for Brahman, the head is prescribed.
नेत्रं स्यादग्रये पश्चात्शर्वायास्रमुदाहृतम्
The eyes are in front; for Sharva, the stream is declared behind.
पुनः षडर्णैर्ह्री लक्ष्म्याः कृत्वान्तः स्थैः षडङ्गकम्
Again, with six syllables for Hrī and Lakṣmī, one should form the six limbs internally.
आदित्यं च रविं पश्चाद्भानुं भास्करमेव च
Then, Aditya, Ravi, Bhanu, and Bhaskara are to be invoked.
सद्यादिपञ्च ह्रस्वाद्यान् न्यसेन्ङें हृदयोंऽतिमान्
The five short syllables beginning with 'sa' are to be placed in the heart, etc., in order.
मूर्द्धास्यकण्ठहृत्कुक्षिनाभिलिङ्गगुदेषु च
On the head, mouth, throat, heart, belly, navel, linga, and anus.
मूर्द्धादिकण्ठपर्यन्तं न्यसेञ्चान्द्रिमनुस्प्ररन्
From the head to the end of the throat, one should place the lunar energy, contemplating it.
