त्वत्प्रसादादहं देव कृताकृत्यो ऽस्मि सर्वतः
By your grace, O Lord, I am fulfilled in every way.
इति स्तुत्वा ततः सर्व गुरवे विनिवेदयेत्
Having thus praised, one should then offer everything to the Guru.
यत्करोमि जगन्नाथ तदस्तु तव पूजनम्
O Lord of the universe, whatever I do, may it be your worship.
क्षालितं निजमात्मानं लिर्मलं भावयेत्सुधीः
Having purified oneself, the wise should contemplate themselves as spotless.
मूलाधारादधो भागे वर्तुलं वायुमण्डलम्
Below the root center is a circular region of air.
त्रिकोणं मण्डलं वह्नेस्तत्रस्थवह्निबीजतः
There is a triangular region of fire, from which the seed of fire abides.
प्रसुप्तभुजगाकारां स्वयंभूलिङ्गवेष्टिनीम्
There, coiled like a sleeping serpent, she encircles the self-born linga.
कुलकुण्डलिनीं ध्यात्वा कूर्चेनोत्थापयेञ्च ताम्
Meditating on the Kulakundalini, one should raise her upward with the tip of the mind.
गुरुपदिष्टविधिना ब्रह्मरन्ध्रं नयेत्सुधीः
By the method taught by the guru, the wise should lead her to the Brahmarandhra.
तत्प्रभापटलव्याप्तैविमलं चिन्मयं परम्
Pervaded by her radiance, it becomes pure, conscious, and supreme.
दृष्ट्वा च मानसैर्द्रव्यैः प्रार्थयेन्मनुनामुना
Having seen this, one should offer with mental substances and pray with the prescribed mantra.
प्रातः समुत्थाय तव प्रियार्थं संसारयात्रां त्वनुवर्तयिष्ये
Rising in the morning, for your sake, I will follow the journey of worldly life.
तततः कुर्यात्सर्वसिद्ध्यै त्वजपाया निवेदनम्
Then, for the attainment of all accomplishments, one should offer the ajapa.
अजपाख्यां तु गायत्रीं जीवोजपति सर्वदा
The living being always recites the Gayatri known as ajapa.
देवता परमोहंसश्चाद्यन्ते बीजशक्तिकम्
The deity is the supreme swan, at the beginning and end, endowed with seed and power.
निराभासश्च धर्मश्च ज्ञानं चेति तथा पुनः
It is without appearance, is righteousness, and is knowledge—so it is again.
जातयुक्तान्साधकेन्द्र षडङ्गेषु नियोजयेत्
The accomplished adept should assign those born with such qualities to the six limbs.
सकारस्तादृशश्चैव प्रवेशे ध्यानमीरितम्
The syllable 'sa' is thus prescribed for meditation at the entrance.
मूलाधारे वादिसांतबीजयुक्ते चतुर्दले
In the root center, with the seed from 'va' to 'sa', in the four-petaled lotus.
पाशाङ्कुशसुधापात्रमोदकोल्लासपाणये
Holding a noose, goad, nectar vessel, and sweet delight in her hands.
स्वाधिष्टाने विद्रुमाभे वादिलान्तार्णसंयुते
In the sacral center, shining like coral, joined from 'va' to 'la' within.
स्रुवाक्षमालालसितबाहवे पद्मजन्मने
With hands adorned with a ladle and rosary, O lotus-born one.
विद्युल्लसितमेघाभे डादिफआन्तार्णपत्रके
With leaves dark as rain clouds lit by lightning, bearing the marks from ḍa to pha within,
सश्रिये षट्सहस्रं च विष्णवे विनिवेदयेत्
With beauty, let six thousand be offered to Viṣṇu.
शुक्ले शूलाभयवरसधाकलशधारिणे
To the white one, holding trident, gesture of fearlessness, boon-bestowing, and a pot,
वृषारूढाय रुद्राय षट्सहस्रं निवेदयेत्
To Rudra, mounted on the bull, let six thousand be offered.
महाज्योतिप्रकाशायेन्द्रियाधिपतये ततः
Then, to the great light, the lord of the senses,
आज्ञाचक्रे हक्षयुक्ते द्विदिले ऽब्जे सहस्रकम्
In the command-wheel, joined with the letter ha, in the two-petalled lotus, a thousand (should be offered).
सहस्रारे महापद्मे नादबिन्दुद्वयान्विते
In the thousand-petalled great lotus, endowed with the duality of sound and point,
प्ररमाद्ये च गुरवे सहस्रं विनिवेदयेत्
At the beginning of worship, to the teacher, a thousand should be offered.
