कुजज्ञेज्याजशुक्रार्किसूर्यः परिव्रजेन्नरः
If Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and the Sun are together, the man becomes a wanderer.

बहूभुग्पदारग्नौ स्थिरधीः प्रियवाक्तथा
With many possessions, steadfast in mind, and sweet-spoken as well.
दान्तो रोगी शुभो ऽदित्यां पुष्यर्यजन्मा कविः सुखी
Self-controlled, diseased, auspicious in the Sun, born in Pushya, a poet, and happy.
पत्रे भोगी धनी भक्तो दाता प्रियवचा भगे
In Bhaga, he is sensual, wealthy, devoted, generous, and speaks pleasantly.
चित्रांबरः सुदृक्त्वाष्ट्रे न च धर्मदयापरः
With varied garments, good vision, skilled in crafts, but not devoted to righteousness or compassion.
शाक्रे धर्मपरस्तुष्टो मूले मानी धनी सुखी
In Śākra, one devoted to righteousness is content; at the root, proud, wealthy, and happy.
कर्णे धनी सुखी ख्यातो दाता शूरो धनी वसौ
In Karṇa, wealthy, happy, renowned, generous, heroic, and rich in cattle.
बुध्ने वक्ता सुखी कान्तः पौष्णे शूरो धनी शुचिः
At the base, eloquent, happy, charming; in Pauṣṇa, heroic, wealthy, and pure.
युग्मे स्रीद्यूतशास्रज्ञः स्रैणो ह्रस्वः स्वभे विधौ
In the pair, skilled in dice and governance; in Sraṇa, short; in Svabha and Vidhu.
धर्मी श्लक्ष्णः सुधीः षष्टे प्राज्ञः प्रांशुर्धनी घटे
Righteous, gentle, wise in the sixth; learned, tall, wealthy in Ghaṭa.
मृगे ऽलसो ऽटनः स्वक्षः परदारार्थहृद्धटे
In Mṛga, lazy, wandering, handsome, desirous of others' wives in Dhaṭa.
पूज्यो लुब्धो ऽधनसखो मेषादौ भास्करे जनौ
Honored, greedy, friendless at the beginning of Meṣa; in Bhāskara, among people.
बौधे कृतज्ञो जैवे तु ख्यातः शौक्रे ऽन्यदारिकः
In Budha, grateful; in Jaiva, renowned; in Śākra, attached to other women.
स्रीद्वेष्यः स्वजनद्वेषीनियरत्यः सधीयनः
Hostile to prosperity, hostile to his own people, inclined to improper conduct, possessing intelligence.
सेनानीः स्त्र्यर्थपुत्राढ्यः दक्षमैश्यः परिच्छदी
A commander, wealthy in sons for the sake of women, skilled, possessing authority and attendants.
स्त्र्याप्तार्थो मन्दशोकाढ्यो बन्धुद्वेषी धनाघवान्
Obtains wealth through women, rich in mild sorrow, hostile to relatives, and possessing little wealth.
व्यङ्गजार्थो खप्रसूको विधिमित्रो सुखत्रयः
Obtains wealth from the disabled, born in the sky, friend of fate, possessing threefold happiness.
भूपज्ञगुणिपौरास्वादृष्टेब्जेजेसृगादिभिः
Among kings, learned, virtuous, and citizens, seen in lotus, and among creators and others.
धात्वाजीवी नृपज्ञाभीतन्तुवायाधनाः स्वभे
Living by metals, knowledgeable of kings, fearful, weaver, wealthy in Svabha.
ज्योतिर्ज्ञाढ्येज्यनु खलु नृपेज्ञादिकर्हरौ
Rich in knowledge of astrology, sacrifices, and indeed among those knowing kings, and in Karhara.
जूके भूपस्वर्णकारवणिजः शेषदृग्युते
In Jūka, kings, goldsmiths, merchants; the rest seen in Yute.
ज्ञातिक्ष्माजनयाश्चाये सद्भिर्दर्मी शठस्तथा
Among relatives, earth-born, and shadows, righteous with the good, and also deceitful.
कुंभे शेषैश्च हास्यज्ञनृपज्ञाः सद्भिरन्त्यभे
In Kumbha, with the rest, skilled in jest, knowledgeable of kings, with the good in Antyabha.
त्र्यंशे तत्पतिमित्रर्क्षगतेर्युक्तेक्षितस्तथा
In the third part, one is seen as joined with the spouse, friends, and stars.
आरक्षेको वधरुचिर्नियुद्धकुशलोर्ऽथवान्
He is a protector, inclined toward violence, skilled in combat, and wealthy.
कविः सुखी बुधांशे तु नटचौरज्ञशिल्पिनः
In the portion of the wise, he is a poet, happy, knowledgeable of actors, thieves, and artisans.
क्रोधी निधीशो मात्यो वा नृपो हिंस्रो सुतो हरेः
He is angry, lord of wealth, a minister, a violent king, or a son of Hari.
